What is this style of jighead called?

So Slider makes these two jigheads:

That I think would be almost perfect for a weed/snagless Ned rig.  But, they are both listed as having soft hooks.  I would love something like this size, but with a bass hook.  The first problem is, I don't know what this style of jig is called (as opposed to most weedless jigheads, which are poured on EWG hooks) so I can't really begin looking very well.  Does this style have a specific name?

Slider makes a head called the Pro Slider head that has a much stouter hook. I use them occasionally and landed many solid bass and a 12 pound flathead on one recently.

The top hook works well with 4 to 5 inch finesse worms.  The old 6" Mann's Draggin Finesse worms worked also.  They worked better after you got a hit or two and had to cut off the first 3/4" or so.  I think that they come in one size, which is 1/8 oz.   No experience with the lower jig head, I think it is more of a crappie spacific jig head.

The Pro slider heads, mentioned earlier are a great finesse or semi-finesse jig head.  I fish the quarter ounce size quite a bit using 10 lb Abrazx line and 5" paddle tail worms.   I throw it on a Falcon Eakins jig special using a Chronarch 50 reel.  Not a true finesse approach but lighter than your more commonly used jig/worm gear.

Just has an aside, Brewer makes a number of bass specific jig heads - check out their web site.  

Which came first - the slider system or the Ned rig?  Depends on who you ask.

VMC makes a jighead like the top one called a rugby head.  I use it for small worms and other smaller baits.  they sell them with a thin but larger hook than any of my slider jigs have

The Slider Pro head seems to be only offered in 5/16, which is too heavy for my needs.  I already use the Rugby heads for small paddle tails and the Owner Ultra heads for my weedless Neds currents, but they are both built on EWG hooks and I have noticed a definite increase in missed hooksets using them compared to an open hook.  I think something like the crappy jigs I pictured would work better as the hook point is at a better angle and will easily pierce the soft zman plastics.

The Owner 5149 isn't a EWG hook and comes in sizes 1/32 to 31/6 in 1/16 increments.

Is this the one you are talking about?

This is the jighead I currently use and it seems to pull out of the fish's mouth fairly often when I go to set the hook.

Looks like a 5149. Could be the way you are rigging the worm or hook set technique? 

Do you know how to skin hook the worm?

What type and test is the line and what rod are you using? 

The hook isn't flexing, It's a very sharp premium hook.
