Big Easy Bassin' Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 I know I will hear from some guys on here for saying this (bc I've heard it before), but I'm a spinning gear kind a guy lol. Always used spinning gear and I love it. I've tried casting rigs before (yes I know I shouldn't practice in the process of fishing) and my patience quickly wears thin. Needless to say, it's tough to find technique specific spinning rods, so I've been looking into having some custom rods made. Is there anyone in particular you guys would recommend? Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted June 12, 2016 Posted June 12, 2016 I'll be happy to quote builds for you. In fact I have a MH spinning Rod already built. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted June 13, 2016 Super User Posted June 13, 2016 Mike, Show him mine and list the components. I have the PERFECT Senko rod! Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted June 14, 2016 Super User Posted June 14, 2016 Custom builds aren't cheap but are nice for sure. Make sure you are aware of the builders labor charge, misc materials charge, and shipping up front. These 3 pieces can easily clear $100 before your blank, guides, reel seat, thread wrap, winding checks, and grips. Quote
