S-Waver Swimbait Advice

Just bought 4.5 inch s-waver swimbait and I'm having a bit of trouble getting hooked up on it.  I know it is typical to catch less fish than usual on a swimbait, but I was just wondering how you all fished it, and what results it yielded.  Thanks!

The small size isn't very effective. It doesn't swim like a glide well at all. Best off to put it on a spinning rod and just use a steady retrieve.

I would check out You Tube and watch a few videos of guys fishing the S-Waver as the Owner of River2Sea usually had good demo video with different techniques to try..I agree that the smaller models will not glide as well as larger models, but I have watched videos where guys used steady retreives to stop and go....I have the smaller S-Waver and I only use it in clear water and have never had much luck with it but I am sure it catches fish, Big Swimbaits no doubt get bigger fish but you do have to get used to your buddy catching fish at a much faster clip which can be hard to do.....
