Gander Mountain has the Daiwa Exceler 6.3 in RH and 7.3 in LH on sale for $49.99.  This is a $100 reel with an aluminum frame and side plate.  Add a $40 Lightning and some 12# Siege.  There's your $100 for a decent baitcast combo..
