faygo1979 Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 I like the Phoenix M1 72 Heavy for my frogs and jigs Quote
Mr Swim Jig Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 3 rods come to mind, Daiwa Tatula 7' 1" MH/XF, 7' 2" H/F and the 7' 4" H/F Frogging rod... Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Any 7'3" H/F rod will do. If you don't mind a longer rod for your frog, the Powell max 3D 775 is sweet! Quote
lakeannaangler Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 I use a 7'3 veritas for frogs but it wouldn't be good for the rig. I love my falcon bucoo lizard dragger for the rig and it can be used for frogs and jigs. For the reel a lews tournament mb will serve you nicely. The lizard dragger is for sale on green tops website for $70 Quote

The Daiwa Tatula 7'4" H/F frog rod can be had for $110 at Sportman's Outfitters. $90 gives you plenty of options for a decent reel. Quote
