Dumb You Tube Fishing Stuff

I've noticed it recently in some videos. But it's never been a topic that I've seen...

1. Yes, some TV shows and many YT videos are on private, and even trophy bass waters.

2. I don't think many are made with fish caught beforehand. But they might wear the same clothes for a week so it appears they caught them all in the same day. I'm pretty sure some TV shows are edited that way. If you really pay attention you can catch subtle clues like sun angle and cloud cover. A careful editing makes them look continuous. Most YT videos aren't that deceitful.

The Googan Squad is pretty good though especially Jon B and Lunkers
 

I don't like the guys that try to act like the Logan Paul of the youtube fishing community act all hyped and jump around and act way over the top. Or say random words that like has nothing to do with fishing but just "sounds cool"

Don't have to actually be old to have the "Get off my Lawn!" attitude.  I've been guilty of it myself.

There's some good content on youtube mixed in with tons of bad, hard to watch, overly hyper bass fishermen content. I find a lot of these youtube sensation guys hard to watch. 

 

 

I find myself searching for funnier videos though, like pros getting mad and yelling at eachother on the water. Always good for a laugh watching pros act like babies.

Since I retired, I've let my white hair grow and rarely shave. Working on being that grumpy old man who yells at all the kids.

 

Recently had somebody tell me I looked like Santa Claus's evil twin brother.
