Andrew Shelton Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I just got in the market for a used bass boat and am looking for one under $2500 or around that. I found and 85 charger with 115 Mercury its 16 foot with a new trolling motor but no electronics. Is this a good deal or should I hold off. Thanks. texas Quote
GetJigginWithIt Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Check the transom and the hull really well. Boat that old could have rotted wood on it. With 2500 I would steer away from glass and look for tin. Any glass in that range will be old and full of problems. 1 Quote

With the details given, it's hard to tell you one way or another. 1 Quote
