Finesse Spinning Rod

I am looking for a recommendation for a spinning rod for finesse applications. I will be pairing it with a pflueger supreme 30 size reel, and will probably have 10 or 15lb braid to 4-8lb fluoro leaders. I will be using it for wacky rigging smaller worms (4" senkos, 6" trick worms), fishing grubs on small jigheads, drop shotting with light wire hooks, and light shakeyhead fishing. If possible a white rod would be nice to match the reel, it's not the biggest factor obviously, as the rod needs to be functional first and foremost. Any suggestions regarding brand, action/power and model would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and also, around $100 is my budget, probably $120/$130 is max. Thanks. 

I'd also like to get your guys' take on whether or not a ML or a M would be better suited for these applications.

I use a Fenwick HMX as my finesse rod. I love it and it is definatly worth more than the $80 price tag.

I've got a few Carbonlites in M (spinning)
and ML (casting). They're pretty great for 
finesse purposes. Quite light.

I am considering the carbonlite, do you think the M or ML would be better for what I am doing?

To be very honest, either. I do both of your 
techniques (4" senko 6" trick) on my M and 
ML Carbonlites.

That said, I was doing those on M power
spinning rods before I bought my ML CL 
in effort to lighten my casting setup.

My youngest son caught a 3# bass this
weekend on my ML Carbonlite with my
Chronarch 50e this past weekend using
only a 4.25" Stik-O and a 2/0 Wide Gap
Finesse Gamakatsu hook... Absolutely
no problem reeling it in.

I've caught 4 and 5 pounders on that
setup with no problem... FWIW

Thanks for the replies so far guys. I am probably going to go with a Carbonlite or Mojo Bass rod. But I am still split on whether to get a ML or a M.

My opinion, for what it's worth,

Carbonlite in M

or Mojo in ML (a tad stiffer than a ML in CL lineup)

I would agree with the st croix mojo but ml would be my preference.

I have a 6'8" M XF Carbonlite paired up with a 30 sized Supreme and they go together perfectly IMO. I use it primarily for throwing wacky rigged senkos, shakey heads, and light texas rigs, and it works great for all of those techniques. I don't drop shot so I can't comment on how well it would work for that. But considering the Carbonlites are on sale right now for $80-90, I'd highly recommend picking one up!

I've got that same reel paired up with a Fenwick HMG 7 Med Fast. This combo is very well balanced. Whatever rod you go with I'd stick with ML for what you're looking to do with it.

MXF would be my choice. The extra backbone that the medium provides can be the difference between landing a personal best or the one that got away.  It's an extra measure of control when fighting the fish near cover or obstructions.

Another vote for M/XF, I think I only have one ML rod and it hardly ever sees the water over my M stuff because I never feel like I need to go lighter.

I think Darren nailed it.  My primary spinning rod is a M fast Carbonlite.  My wife's is a MLXF Mojo.  Very similar feel between the two in my hands with the big difference being smaller fish (pound and under) are a bit more exciting on the ML Mojo.

I was actually considering either the HMG or the HMX.

 

Thanks for the replies guys. I went to bass pro today to just get a feel for ML vs M for different rods and I think I am going to go with ML. I can also second what several have said about the mojo ML acting like some other brands' M.
