Super User the reel ess Posted June 6, 2016 Super User Posted June 6, 2016 Used to be my favorite craw for T rigging. I'll still buy several bags if I ever find them again. But I can't seem to find them anywhere within an hour's drive so I picked up some Berkley Powerbait Chigger Craws and haven't missed a beat. Fish will hold this bait all day long, even if you make a mistake and let them feel your resistance, they'll fight ya' for it! There are a lot of opinions on this board regarding craws this size and I think you probably can't go wrong with the Super Speed Craw, Rage Craw, Chigger Craw and several of the other premium brands. Super User N Florida Mike Posted June 7, 2016 Super User Posted June 7, 2016 Its one of my " inner circle " baits. Its one I always have on hand but I don't always use each time out.I have not caught one big fish on them though, but it seems to be a great numbers bait.I have an area of my home lake that has a lot of old tree branches and brush piles.I do well with this bait esp.in this area along with baby brush hogs.I catch most of them either dead sticking them or hopping it along the bottom.but I have caught fish on them reeling in, usually in the middle of the water column.Watermelon Reds my fav. Color. Went Saturday and caught all of my fish on it.Biggest was 1.9.Like I said its not normally my go to bait but I used it that way and I was pleased with the results. Dicks has had them every time I've gone to pick some up. 1 Quote

Ordering off Amazon can be tricky. Last time I ordered Zoom SS Craws off Amazon Prime I got 2 bags of the Ultravibe size. Too small to rig on a 3 or 4/0 EWG hook. I don't know the reason, but it seems there was a shortage of Super Speed size for a time. Also, when they claim to be Prime items, sometimes when you choose the color you want and look at the cart, the Prime logo goes away and there's a shipping charge there. Like I said. Chigger Craw works like a charm. I may go back if I ever have a reason to. Quote
DaleGribble Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I've been a big fan of gambler burner craws lately. Really good colors and incredible scent. Otherwise look very similar to Zooms. Quote
