ericwont Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 I searched and got all the way back into last year and didn't see any topics for the great state of Delaware. Any other bass fishermen frequent the forums from Delaware? I'm from NCC and know of a few decent holes here and there. I'd love to network with any other people from the area and trade tips. The fishing here isn't easy but if you look hard enough you can find a few lunkers. Quote
BFBob Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I learned how to fish on Delaware ponds. We had a house on mill pond in Lincoln. Its off of Rt 30. Fleetown road splits the pond. Our place was on the left side on the pond. You need a boat to fish it. No boat ramp carry in only. Caught many bass over the years there also lots of perch and pickerel. Not much pressure because of the lack of a ramp. My 2 favorite pond was diamond lake off of alt rout 5 but they closed the ramp so haven't fished it in over 10 years. The state park ponds get fished hard so I pretty much stayed away from them but there are plenty of places to fish all over the state. I fished many of them, get a map and pick a few every year and fish them hard that's what I did. I wish my family still had that place I would still be fishing the diamond state every weekend. Loved it!! Miss it!!!! Quote
