Hello,

I've always used Mann's Jelly Worms (paddle tail) for deadsticking.  I like the way the tails float up and wave in the current.

What other plastic worms have the floating tail, though?

Thanks,

Josh

Check out Upton's Customs, they make a fantastic hand poured worm.  Kicker Fish also makes a nice floating tail worm, called the High Tail Hole Shot, I think.

Big Bite Baits squirrel tails are good for dead sticking. Their flying squirrel creature baits are good too.

Good ole fashion zoom trick worm

My experience is only the ones labeled "Original Trick Worm" do. The rest are loaded with salt (and say so on the package) & will slowly fall flat. Regardless, both are excellent baits.

I think almost every worm has a tail that sticks up....Especially if you rig it with a weight in front..Also any bait with rings...or Elaztach, the Z-Man baits are the best for the stand up action and they last forever. I use the Rage Worms with the Rings and ribbon tail, and they catch big fish and lots of fish on any style rig....Zipper Worms are good for that as well.

Mann´s Augertail worm, and man, that wiggling floating tail is really deadly !

Grandebass Airtails.  The tail has air in it, so it's always going to float.  I slay on these things rigged shakey, trigged or weightless.

Absolutely the best worm for neko or shaky head!!!!   Hands down!!!

Have you tried Double Z's T-Worm or Mag T-Worm?

They float ?

I'd stick with the Jelly Worm, unless you're looking for a better color selection.  I've even used the last four or five inches of one that's been torn at the head on a shakey head with success.
