I always have this problem as well, I know it is because I buy the cheap ones for $1.29.  I have fished with Strike King and Terminator and both of these make top of the line spinner baits if you are willing to spend a little more.

Strike King and River2Sea make excellent, heavier-wire spinner baits for a reasonable price. Good luck!

There are anglers that pay top dollar for those types of spinnerbaits, I know because I've made them. The vibration you get from a thin wire is very distinct but they are fragile, there are also the cheap ones that us a low grade stainless which not only bends easier but deforms so badly when it does that it often breaks when trying to bend it back. I agree wit Catt 100%, Stanley Vibra-shaft or Wedge Plus spinnerbaits are really good, if I didn't make my own Stanley spinnerbaits are the ones I'd buy.

The wire on the Vibra Shaft spinnerbait goes from 41/1000 at one end of the wire down to 24/1000 where the blade is attached. With the Wedge Blade it's the same deal. One end is 15/1000 and the other end is 30/1000 which puts 85% of the weight of the spinnerbait blade on the very back. This combination moves more water & provides more thump than any spinnerbait period!

If you're looking for durability of the arm I've been using the same Terminator T1 (titanium) spinnerbait for about 8 years now, just changing out the skirt when needed. That thing has taken a beating. The arm just springs back. Where the arm breaks happen is where it's bent over and over in the same spot. If the arm isn't allowed to bend, you shouldn't have the problem

War eagle spinners are durable and flat out catch fish.

My go to spinnerbait is River2Sea. However Kustom Kicker just came out with a new spinnerbait that the wire is titanium and guaranteed not to bend, break, or get out of alignment.

x2

I had one spinnerbait last me the entire summer and only broke this season because I tried bending it too much.

I was fishing today and I caught big fish but then my spinnerbait arm snapped I am searching for a spinner bait with a really strong arm that doesn't snap easily
