Would you recommend this for me? I would. You can fit a ton of tackle into the two boxes that come with it, much more than you'd ever need for a day or two or three of fishing. I use smaller Plano 3500 boxes, so there's even more room in the main compartment. Then all your additional items fit in the other zippered areas. And, as I mentioned, I like the reflective color dealing with traffic. I also like the way the single sling sits on my back and makes casting easy with the strap coming across the left shoulder I compared this to the Spiderwire sling at Dicks and thought the Abu was the better bag for my needs. Plus the price was right with the current sale. Quote

Onvacation Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I also use the BPS Extreme 360. Price is kind of hard to beat Quote
Jaw1 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I have tried various backpacks over the last 2 years, the first being the academy pack which is ok other than the velcro in the upper compartment( it can hold a lot of gear and get heavy quick) the next was a browning pack from bps (the blue one) which I like better than the academy brand it's currently my co angler boat bag. The next is the Abu sling pack which works good for bank fishing requiring less gear. I then bought the spider wire sling pack which I like better for my bank fishing and pond hopping it just feels better made to me. I also have an orvis sling pack for my fly gear which would make a good bank bag as well but is more expensive than the others 1 Quote
Philo Beddoe Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I was using my old LLBean backpack from college until it finally fell apart(need to send it back for a replacement), but picked up the TW backpack when it was onsale for like $50 or so earlier this year. I can get about three 3700s in it and more plastics than I use in a single outing. Side pockets are good for scents, pliers, etc. I've used it in two BFLs so far and it has served me nicely. 1 Quote
idabass Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Loved my bass pro xps stalker but it got stolen last year with a ton of baits and lures inside. Couldn't find another one that wasn't out of stock unfortunately. Looked at the twh bag but it was also out of stock. Settled for the bps 360 and it's a great bag with a lot room. I think the stalker is built better though. I'm thinking about getting another some time just for an excuse to buy more lures lol. Quote
