Fishing Backpack

Looking to buy a new fishing backpack under $40 if possible that is nice. Please comment url if know of any

The Academy-brand H2O XPRESS Tackle Backpack is nice. I think it is around $50 and it comes with a few plastic Plano-style tackle boxes (the 3600 size). I have had one for a few years and really like it. It holds four of the tackle boxes in the bottom and has two larger storage areas up top for soft plastics, terminal tackle, etc.

You cpuld also check out the BPS extreme 360 backpack, it is around $30. I have one and I really like it!

I like the cabelas backpack, I think I got it for 63$ on sale, and it's on sale pretty regularly. I find myself using a regular backpack just as often.

I bought a High Sierra in TJ Max 4 years ago for $19.00. I carry 3 3700 boxes, 1 spinnerbait box, terminal tackle, it will hold about 10-14 bags of soft plastics with more compartments for tools and assorded equipment. More than enough room to hold enough to fish for a few weeks. Still in almost new condition after 4 years of HEAVY use.

I have the cabela's advanced anglers backpack and absolutely love it!! I forget what the price was, but it's a solid backpack. They also have an advanced anglers sling pack if you are looking for something a little smaller. It also integrates with the backpack and is really handy. I have them both, and use them both regularly

The TW Backpack is okay. Stands up nicely on its own which is cool.

$40 won't give you much in the hopes of a quality fishing tackle backpack. Like others said- find you a school bag or maybe an old Army ruck pack with frame. Then buy good 3700 boxes.

I have both the *** and a school back pack. I like the *** one more but it's nothing amazing for 70 bucks.

Find a backpack on sale at like The Clymb or Sierra Trading Post when they have a sale or have coupons and you can get a solid backpack for dirt cheap.  No need to go out and buy a "fishing specific" backpack, it's just space that holds Plano trays and a few smaller knickknacks.

For the most part this is true. If you are looking to get something less expensive, a regular backpack is definitely the way to go. I used a normal pack for two years before getting a fishing specific one, and it worked just fine. 

That being said, it is much easier for me to arrange my tackle and keep everything in order in my fishing pack. Instead of having one large compartment it has a seperate compartment on the bottom that holds three trays and opens from the side of the pack. This makes it much easier to access my trays without having to root around through the rest of my tackle. Fishing packs are designed to hold your trays securely so they are not bouncing around while you are walking.

A normal backpack will be less expensive, and will definitely get the job done, but overall I enjoy my fishing pack much more

LOL. Was just about to post the same thing as I picked one up this weekend.

Several internal zippered pockets, a soft fabric lined pocket for sunglasses, external rod holder, a big compartment on the side for a water bottle (could also be used for other things but I love this feature), and a nice loop for pliers/hemostats on front of the strap. It comes with two large boxes. 

For me, this is a perfect size for bank fishing or in the boat. I also like the hi-vis color when I'm crossing a road at the end of a fishing day.

In my case, i live across the street from a lake so i'd ride my bike and keep all my stuff in it. Would you recommend this for me?
