Just returned from a short 3 day trip to Fort Peck. Tubes worked OK, swimbaits worked OK. But I made a small adjustment and thing picked up, then I made another small adjustment and really began  to hammer them. I began  throwing a 3" green pumpkin BPS grub. I WAS throwing an unpainted jig head. I switched to a chartruese  jighead and the bite was on! My partner was annoyed. He cast to one particular rock 5 times with his swimbait while I was picking out a backlash. My 1st cast to the rock  I got bit on the drop almost instantly. He was ticked off. Not at me but the fish.  I offered to give him one but he said no. Another small adjustment really helped as well. I don't have a foot peddle so I make trolling motor adjustments with the I pilot remote. As soon as I stopped my retrieve to  make a trolling motor adjustment , Bang! Once we noticed that, we added a pause to our retrieve we would get bit more often and most off the time it was on the drop.  Anyway, I went through almost all of my grubs! i have 1 pack left. The BPS grubs come in a 9 pack. I'm looking for a bulk pack, so I can save some money. 3-4$ for 9 little grubs seems expensive for what your actually getting. We're  going back next week. I'm looking for a bulk pack of green pumpkin 3-4" grubs. Looked on Cabela's and BPS and don't see any bulk packs  that offer green pumpkin. Any idea where I can get some? i don't think brand will matter. Thanks in advance .

That is so weird that you have to call them now. When I looked in December the prices were shown right on the site. Glad they still sell them that way, Kalins has the best action I have seen in a grub, and still manages to be very durable.

They have what I want as well! Including Z man grubs although they are out of stock on 1 specific color. Either way, thanks a bunch. I hadn't looked at TW.

Hit Overstock bait today, its Friday, they have 20 packs of GYB grubs which are the same design as the BPS grubs for 2.99 a pack and have 40 colors to choose from in all sizes...They also have Kalins really cheap, but the BPS grubs are similar to the GYB as far as shape and action...

Honestly, check out Ebay, There is a guy who sells brand name soft plastics in bulk, mostly stick baits and grubs, not sure size but I think all 5" and I think he is buying the grubs from Locket lures.....Oh, Just order from Locket, they do Big Bite, Gander and more....

I use BPS grubs in 4" and 5" XPS grubs, if you were using 3" then you were using the walleye grubs or standard inexpensive grubs..Those grubs can be had at Barlows, Hagens fish, Locket, but I would suggest using a GYB grub for 2.99 since they have awesome colors and you will be able to cast further....I have a bunch of those exact grubs in bulk I could hook you up with super cheap but do not have green Pumpkin....I have a few thousand but different colors and some are mister twister which are more finesse and walleye grubs in my view but the BPS 3" is very basic and will surely catch fish....You should not pay more than a nickel to a dime for those grubs if buying 100....Hagens has 1000 packs for like .04 each....New, not seconds. Hope that helps.....

Primetime, thanks for the tips. At BPS prices, plus shipping it's like 45-47cents a pc!  .05 -.10 is way more realistic and affordable! The Ebay guy is only selling 3" as far as I can tell but Barlows,Hagens,GYB and Locket. Leaving tomorrow so I won't get them in time but the river here is heating up nicely. They'll be biting on the Mighty Mo when I get back. Tight Lines!

You can get Mr. Twister grubs in packs of 50 pretty cheap.  Idk if they have the color you want, though.
