Do you guys have a Lucky Fishing Rod?  I'm talking about that Special Rod in your Arsenal that just seems to catch a fish on every trip. I own many rod a reel setups. But this one just seems to never let me down. Its a Abu Gacia Orra sx Reel on a BPS Extreme Rod.

I call it "Old Faithful" I know it's probably just a confidence thing but I like to think its "Lucky".

The one rod I seem to always get the big ones.  My Fenwick M/XF spinning setup.  It is paired with a Symetre 2500.  99% time it is with me.

I don't have a lucky rod, but have a lucky lure.  1/2 oz. black spinnerbait

That's just silly.  Everybody knows it's a confidence thing.  You fish best with what you're confident in.  However, I'm beginning to think I've got an unlucky rod.  It's a #*** 7' mh/xf casting rod.  I've owned it since last fall and until last week it was fishless. Got 1 last week and hoped the course was over.  This weekend I was skunked again. I'm really trying to like the rod it's light, feels good, casts great but it does not catch fish.

Let´s split hairs, out of those 12 which one is the "luckiest" ? :checkitout:

Like you, all my rods are "lucky" however, one is "special", my old & trusty ----> Berkley Lightning Rod LR16.

^^^ It's the Indian not the arrow.

Sometime it feels like there is just no buffalo for the poor Indian to shoot at.   Truth be told that one fish is the only keeper sized bass I have caught since buying that rod.  So, maybe it's my lucky rod it has caught 100% of my bass.  We had a flood at the lake late last year and the lake has not been the same since I assumed at the time that the fish quit biting after the flood because they were up in the grass gorging on insects and worms that got drowned in the flood.  Then the campground closed for the season.  I was hoping things would be back to normal this spring but fishing has been tough and it's not just me. We had 4 people on the boat bass fishing over the three day weekend and only caught 1 bass between us.  The action was so slow that we did a lot more panfishing than bass fishing just to get bit.  I haven't even seen many spawning bass like I have in the past years.  Not sure what's going on.

Fishing stinks in my area also so far this season. Definitely very different from last year.

Wish I could say that, but fishing stinks in my area every year.  Hoping later this year to make a move down by my wife's sister and brothers.  MUCH better fishing there.   And I won't have to drive 35-50 minutes to get to a lake.

We had a ton of rain throughout May and temps went up a lot quicker than last year then fell down shortly after. It put things in a funk here. We floated the river yesterday and it's up 3x what it normally is this time of year. Average depth is normally 2.5' about now and it's was 7.5 yesterday.

St croix rage and the shminao of the week. Great comb but may just be that it is I'm weightless wacky rigged senko rod and catches fish all day, every day.

Guess I've never thought of it as my "lucky" rod, but if things aren't going my way I usually turn to my Avid X paired with a Lews team lite to make the stars magically align.

I don't have a lucky rod and the fishing stinks in my neck of the woods when I'm not in the right spot; which happens more than I'd like to admit. ?
