carfreac18 Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Found a shimano b-100a reel in my dad's garage this weekend. I was just looking for some info on google about it but couldn't find much. Does anyone have any info on this reel? I'd like to know some of the specs and stuff just out of curiousity. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 All I have on it is a one bearing, 5:1, line capacity of around 125 yards of 12 # test. Sometimes favored as a flipping reel. 1 Quote
carfreac18 Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 Well sweet! That's all I needed to know, can't believe it's only got one bearing but then again the spool is plastic.... Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 There are bushing that may be replaced with bearings but some of the old bushing reels casted surprisingly well. 2 Quote

The spool is no plastic but graphite, there´s nothing wrong with it being graphite, besides, you couldn´t ask for better stuff on a 25 dollars reel. Quote
