Took the wife gill fishing this morning.  We caught them almost every cast until the crickets were gone!  Very happy she went with me!  Also caught my PB gill - 1.36lbs

Nice PB BG, Jeff!

My PB BG is 1 pound even. Solid fish,
fantastic fight. Caught on a senko which
I had cast over a low bush, instead of
unsnapping, i plopped the senko up and
down on the water making a ruckus and
bang, the BG hit. Unsnagged me, too :)

Nice 'gills indeed !   There was a recent article in "In-Fisherman" magazine about the scarcity of larger bluegills, redears, etc. It seems they're getting fished-out in many places nationwide.  I know in my local lakes, any "brim" over 10" is a rare fish...
