bassguytom Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Has anyone used a shad colored tube? If so what brand? I am Looking for a good Shad colored tube to try in some lakes that I go to. These lakes are heavy with Shad so I am thinking this would work well. I am always wanting to try ideas that pop into my head. Any info would be great. Quote
Cmiller Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 take a spike it marker and a sharpie to a sliver or white tube. Quote
BassThumb Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I think any smoke-colored tube would fit the bill. Bass Pro Tender Tubes have a terrific array of baitfish colors. There's a smoke with chartreuse flake tube that just kills the Mille Lacs smallies. Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted May 26, 2016 Super User Posted May 26, 2016 There are a few on TW under their tubes section. Big Bite has some in various lengths and at very reasonable prices. Quote
blckshirt98 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Dry Creek makes about every tube color known to man! Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 26, 2016 Global Moderator Posted May 26, 2016 I carry white flipping tubes from Strike King and fish them like a fluke. They can also be fished like a toad across vegetation and killed in the openings. Quote
