Super User MassYak85 Posted May 25, 2016 Super User Posted May 25, 2016 River 2 Sea does not make the triple trout....are you referring to the S-Waver? Quote
Fatboyrv Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 sorry 22nd century is the one I was referring to Quote
Buckeye Ron Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 No offense, but $70.00 for one lure? I've never heard of the lure you're referring to,but how could it be a better fish catcher than other lures you likely already have? Again, no offense nor am I passing judgement. I just can't imagine spending that kind of money for a lure. Hope you find what you're looking for regardless!! Quote
Super User MassYak85 Posted May 25, 2016 Super User Posted May 25, 2016 I've personally never used the triple trouts, although they do have a following amoungst some swimbait anglers. But I can't imagine you couldn't find a cheaper swimbait that is just as effective. If you are set on a hard body the Spro 8" BBZ-1 and the Cl8 7" clacker are both sizeable hard baits that can be had for around half the price of the triple trout. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 26, 2016 Global Moderator Posted May 26, 2016 I have an 8" TT that I bought this past fall. It's a solid bait that swims well and a proven fish catcher. Is it worth the money? That's up for you to decide. I've spent more on baits I liked less. 2 Quote

stkbassn Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 The Triple Trout is a proven bait and it's awesome dude. My collection is growing and it will continue to do so. It casts well and swims beautifully without any effort other than turning the reel handle. You can twitch it, burn it, jerk it...or just straight retrieve. They have sinking and floating versions also. Check out the cut tail in 8 or 10 inch for a great waking/topwater bait. It's sweet. I have 6,7,8 inch TT's and will soon pick up a 10.... 1 Quote
