Super User dodgeguy Posted May 24, 2016 Super User Posted May 24, 2016 Decided I'd try some.its very low stretch but slightly stiff. Has anybody else used this line? Would like opinions please. Seems to only be available at Dicks sporting goods. Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted May 24, 2016 Super User Posted May 24, 2016 Yes , only see it at Dick's and otherwise fairly popular in Australia and New Zealand ... I use KVD line conditioner to help with the stiffness in the #14 lb and #17 lb. ratings . I'm using only on a baitcaster currently for top water , swimbaits and swim jigs . Would I go out of my way to buy again ? Not sure yet - For non - braid and non - FC applications I'm warming up to the idea of using co-poly lines as they offer a cost savings and the technology keeps getting better and better with co-poly lines. 1 Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted May 24, 2016 Super User Posted May 24, 2016 Hey dodgeguy where you been hiding? Don't recall seeing any of your posts in awhile. Either that or it took me this long to remember you. I've got some to try. I believe it is 6# for a spinning reel. Actually have a spinning reel with no line on it so that would be a good place for my first try with it. What pound are you planning on trying? Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted May 24, 2016 Author Super User Posted May 24, 2016 Had lots of issues. Health issues etc. Lost 180 lbs. Trying to get back into it.I don't think I'd like this line on spinning. Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted May 24, 2016 Super User Posted May 24, 2016 Sorry to hear about your bad health, my friend. Hope it is better now. Okay. Will put it on a finesse baitcast reel. Quote
