New eBay code: Pstartearly. Same 20% deal as usual.

I have never gotten that code to work and am looking to pick up a Tat SV if I can find one around $100.   Do you know any specfic vendors that the code works for?

For a maximum of $50 also.  For those of you wanting to save more on larger purchases on something like a trolling motor.

I have a ~$100 rod from American Legacy in my cart right now and the discount is working.

I am going to be strong though, I do not need it.

The harder you resist the monkey, the more likely that $100 rod will turn into a $150 rod into a $200 rod...

Oh, the monkey is already howling about a $250 rod, so he is going to have learn to live with disappointment in this case.

The discount works just fine but you can only save a maximum of $50.  So if you wanted to get 20% off of an expensive trolling motor you wouldn't get 20% off, you'd get $50.

Oh, I got you now.

Looks like Megabass Levante Rods are being discounted at most retailers. Not sure if they are clearing them out like they did the XX or what, but its nice to get Megabass for less than normal retail

We all know once something goes in the cart there's only one way it leaves the cart lol

Bass Pro runs specials for their call in ordercustomers. Usually on stuff that is useful but you might not buy otherwise.

For example, low-profile baitcaster neoprene reel covers are $2.50 each (normally $5.99 each) right now if you call and order over the phone.

They do this with other items too, I know on one occasion in the past  it was rod socks.

Time to check your local Wal-Mart's...year end inventory is coming up for them in a week and lots of stuff is being clearanced out, in fact some stuff hasn't even made it onto the sales floor and has been buried out back only to be seen now at inventory time. I just got two Berkley Lightning Rod Shock casting rods, 1-7ft. MH and 1-6'6" M for $9 each. They also had all of their fishing baseball caps on clearance for $1 each so we bought like almost 20 hats (I like collecting them...lol.). I also bought some of the Yum spray on attractants in shad and crawfish scent for $1 each. Last night I picked up an instant up 13x13 canopy by Ozark Trail for $15 and it's normally $88. Go check em' out while there's still good stuff to be had...especially this week as I was told at my Wal-Mart last night their inventory will start in about a week!

I have been doing that for the last month to go and check out two Walmart. They don't have anything at the clearance section "yet" .

Last year was the Yo-Zuri Hybrid Fishing Line that I grabbed for like $2.50 bucks. I knew I should have stock more up as I am halfway out.

All I need is fishing lines.

I know it's not much but my Wal-Mart has Berkley Big Game mono on clearance for $3 per spool (it's regularly $6.86).

Both my local WM's restructured their sporting good sections in the past couple months - have barely seen a clearance tag since.

But, In my area, they're probably trying to not compete with Academy, Dicks and the 2 very well stocked tackle shops.  I still try to give a good bit of my bait monkey money to the local shops when I can.

Academy.com has a few Ike Delay series rods on clearance for $49.98, Castaway Skeletons for $79.98, and 7'1 MH Fast Mojos for $79.98.

Had one in the cart, but didn’t pull the trigger.  Now they are sold out (not a bad thing, btw ?).

Currently, academy has the Shimano Clarus 6’6” MF for 39.98 ?‍♂️.   Must... resist...
