Not sure if this was posted before or not but Cabela's is running a week-long sale and it looks like every Rapala and Strike King hard bait is discounted. I got through black Friday without buying anything but this sale hits me where it hurts.

Pretty good deal. $14 for a swim senkos kit on sale.

I'm sad, ordered even tho I don't know what to do with those. It is your fault LOL.

Gotta stop checking this thread I spent way over my budget already. My wife gonna kill me when she sees those packages in a few day.

Well you can rip the tail off and use them as regular senkos.

Typically you can rig these like any paddle tail swimbait on an EWG (weighted or weightless) or rig them on a jig head and work it like a jigworm. Lotta people use them on carolina rigs and as chatterbait trailers too.

Merry Christmas to me I just purchased a 894c NRX 30% off and also got a Diawa Tatula SV TWS XS on ebay, seller American Legacy Fishing for 119.00.  Both tax free with free shipping.  Hard to beat either of those deals.

It was a good Black Friday. Field and Stream had a deal where you buy a Denali AttaX rod at full price and get a Denali Zenyx crankbait rod ($99) for free with coupons and dicks cash I was able to get the AttaX for $80 and the Zenyx for free.

I also took advantage of the Kastking lightning deals. I got a Sharky 2 3000 and a Centron 3000 for $40 total for both reels. Lighting deal plus the amazon rewards credit card helped get this low price.

Wow the St Croix online sale kinda sucks. Only 30% off legend tournament?! My local tackle shop knocked them down 50% off. Glad I snagged a few there instead of waiting for the Cyber Monday deal.

Cabelas has the revo sx marked down 50% to $80, strike king and rapala are mostly all 20-30% off, and the helix 10 and 12 are something like 40-50% off.

That's funny you say that I was on another forum saying same thing. How is it that a tackle shop can do 50% byt the company will only do 30%?

because the tackle shop wants at least some return on their investment and also need room for new stock. st croix only sells one brand and has a warehouse so space isnt a problem

Been waiting anxiously for this one ~ The LTB line is already mostly gone but I did score the 7'1'' MHF for a song.

Always wanted this stick and now one's headed to the Lund Rod locker !

Sweet.

They also probably don't want to compete with the shops that carry their products undercutting them might be bad PR. Very rarely do you find better deals on company sights vs stores.

I'm pretty bummed by the whole situation honestly. Those are all good points though too hopefully kistler still has their sale going on better discount.

Bass Pro has the new Abu Garcia Revo Rocket 9.0:1 which is normally $229.99 on sale for $129.97, both RH and LH versions.

Any other rod deals today? I was looking forward to buying some high end St. Croix but at that price I think I’d buy some other high end rods. I need MF-MXF casting for jerkbait and plastics and MLF-MLXF spinning for dropshot and finesse

both about 6’6”-7’ long

Thanks!

I bit on the St. Croix deal -- got the (apparently very popular) 6'10" MLXF spinning rod coming my way.

I really don't think 30% off is anything to sniff at, especially with free shipping. It only pales in comparison to the "up to 50%" advertised.

Yeah, but I already blew my money on not one but two curado 70s, a 6'10" mh/f casting zodias, and a 7' m/f spinning zodias-almost wishing I'd waited for the st. Croix deal.  Sweet deal on that legend though, a killer rod from what I've heard. Just looking to restock up on my favorite baits for next year using the sales.

I jumped on that an hour ago.  Good deal.  I've tried the Kast King speed demon twice and both times received a garbage reel with multiple issues.   Finally got the high speed reel I need for the Delta.

Honest question - what are you using these ultra fast reels on?  I've never owned anything faster than 7.1:1 - but I just bought a 8.3:1 Fuego that my thought is to put it on a 7'3" heavy for Jigs, and frogs. Wanna make sure I'm not missing the boat of a different setup.
