Picked up some Zoom U-tale worms, Lizards and Super Flukes at Walmart for $2.16 / pack.  Just got 3 pkgs, left some on the rack for the next lucky shopper.

Good deal, but that is the regular price for those packs at many Walmarts.

To my fellow Canadian's..

Not a high end deal but decent enough to mention it. Canadian Tire is clearing out the Daiwa Revros combo's for $34.93. Reg. $99.99.

The reel is a 2500 size and the rod is 6'6" medium action.

Haha, mine comes tuesday. I still don't know what I'm going to do with it. I might replace another reel with it if I like it enough.

Not sure if its been mentioned, but Powell has some Diesel rods on clearance at $24.99.  I know these aren't super high end but I've had positive experiences with the Diesel series, which never should've been replaced with the Nusance IMHO

Thats why you go in with a friend to buy multiples. I ordered 5 split with a bud so they ended up at $30 each, still a great deal. Even if you buy one, I believe $50 for the rod/s&h is a good value

I did get 4 Mustang Elite 28K inflatable PFDs. Whew, those aren't cheap, but after a close call this year in my boat everyone gets to wear lifejackets now.

I realize how old this post is, but I gotta ask because I'm about to pull the trigger on a couple of these. Not trying to derail this thread; I just can't find the info short of calling Mustang Survival.

Did you get to see your MD5183KF's and the standard MD5183's side-by-side? The website says it's "slimmer", but I'm curious how it is slimmer or what difference you noticed besides the MOLLE loops. Thanks in advance.

Actually I don't know. They have so many options and not a good description of what the differences are. I'm almost 100% I didn't get molle straps bc I wouldn't need them.

This is what I got:

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking about. See that webbing on the right, when you're looking at the PFD head on? That's MOLLE compatible webbing according to the description. They added that since they geared that particular PFD more towards kayak fishing; having the ability to add pouches, sheaths, etc. Pretty good idea for an inflatable kayak PFD and just in general, if you ask me.
