Got an Email from Ebay yesterday: 20% off memorial day sale for outdoor products.  Wasn't sure if that covered fishing reels so I clicked on a link for a reel and the discount loaded up.  Ended up grabbing a $175 3000 series CI4+FB for $140 after the rebate.  I was very tempted to pick up a Stella with this deal but the Ci4 should do everything I need.  I've found a guy there selling top notch reels for the lowest prices I've ever seen.  Catch is only left handed bait casters, and no XG.  I'm literally going to send him a Christmas card this year.

Is this a seller based out of Lithuania by any chance? Really close to pulling the trigger on a reel, seller has good reviews but still a little hesitant.

Yes.  If you buy tell him fatmaple sent you.  Check his reviews the negative feedback is 'seller not gentle' lol.  Guessing he has a short temper.  Reel arrived in 10 days in case you are wondering.  I was expecting to get ripped off TBH but he delivered and the reel was legitimate.  Chronarch MGL.

HAHAH, thanks for the reassurance. That's the same reel I have in my cart. I reached out to him a couple days ago and never got a response. Glad to hear you had a positive experience.

Well, I grabbed 4 spools of 300 yd 65lb power pro from the Academy sale. I figure I can get 3-4 spoolings out of each, and I usually change out braid about once a season if not a little longer. Should be set on frog line for the next decade lol.

P20MEMDAY I think, but it's listed o. The eBay site.

Yep it's all over the front page.  It's only good once per account so trying to decide on another Chronarch, Metanium or Aldebaren...probably all of them on friends accounts.

In fact, you can get more than 25% off, if you're a vet and if you use a gift card you bought for 10% off during the Christmas sale

I tried to use my gift card but it didn't give me a choice to pick one during checkout.  Did you have any issues?

It worked for me.

There is a click spot I think where you click it and it opens up a box to put your gift card code and stuff.

I'll try again, I do remember using this in the past but it didn't give me an option last night.  Maybe it was because I tried to do it from my IPAD instead of my laptop.

All I can say is I tried to resist, but once again, the Memorial Day sales got the best of me. Just wish Megabass was included :(

You have to click the drop down arrow and enter the gift card BEFORE you hit "Proceed to Checkout"

I scored two Tatula CTs for $138.

I ordered a Chronarch MGL last night, was debating all weekend between that and the Metanium, but the $100 difference after discount swayed me to try the Chronarch. Hopefully Mr. Grumpy from Lithuania pulls through lol

https://www.amazon.com/Pflueger-Supreme-XT-Spinning-Reel/dp/B00LDYK7CS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496161057&sr=8-1&keywords=Pflueger+Supreme+XT

Pflueger Supreme XT (sealed reel) is on sale on Amazon right now for $97! Seems like a stout reel for $100. Very light too.

Here I was thinking I did a good job of not buying anything over the weekend and then you posted in the thread. It looks like it's a size 30?

Correct, which is more like a 2000 series with most other reel companies. Pfluger's sizes are weird.

I know about pflueger odd sized, but I kind of wanted a smaller reel so I'm fine with it

Yea random seller on eBay and used the coupon code.

You should still be able to send in for the free Huk/Daiwa fishing shirt promo since you bought yours before 5/31. Looks like you get one per reel.  I bought my Tat CTR off Ebay from a Seller "TriaceTackle" and Daiwa fulfilled mine - just got it in last week.

Got a great deal this past weekend -

Picked up a brand new Raymarine Dragonfly 4 Pro Sonar/GPS with Navionics maps installed for $200 total after using the eBay 20% off coupon that was floating around. Can't wait to try this baby out!
