I had some Tatsu that was gifted to me...It is better than the InvizX I usually use, but not enough to warrant the price difference.

 

I may stock up on 832 and InvizX though I'm set for this year.

Just a heads up Amazon typically sells Tatsu far below MSRP. Currently a 200 yard spool of 12lb is $33.21 on Prime vs Omnia sale price of $36.39.

Still expensive line but not the usual $50+ per spool.

I've only had one problem line order from them, recently ordered a spool of 25lb big game mono and received a spool of the new 65lb big game braid. They told me to just keep the braid for free when I requested a replacement, so hey free braid.

100% daiwa is putting the hyperdrive gears in the Tat SV. It's in the model below and above, and everyone loves the hyperdrive. "Geary tatula" won't be a thing anymore.

I've gotten fakes a number of times, but Amazon's always taken care of it.  I make sure not to buy line from 3rd party sellers though at this point.

Academy has a bunch of rods and reels 20% off and many of them are combinable with $20 off $100 in the app. I just picked up a Lews Speed Spool and powerpro ss for $80.

Not seeing it advertised anywhere but Dobyns is all 20% off at ALF again.

 

Edit: ALF seems to be running a number of stealth sales at the moment. All Shimano is discounted, I'm sure there are others but I'm not poking too deep.

The hookup tackle is still running their 20% off gift cards. Also, they started the “double dip” program which adds an additional 20% off of certain brands/categories.

Have any of you ordered anything of Sportsman’s guide before? They have the Daiwa Tatula SV on sale but not sure if it’s legit……

I haven't ordered from them - but they're legit. Been doing business since the 70s...purchased by Northern Tool and Equipment in 2012 - and they're based here in the Twin Cities.

They are legit. They also have had some kind of a club pricing in the past, so make sure you are seeing the actual price you would pay vs. the member price.
