GPS Store has the Raymarine Element 12hv w/ transducer for $799.  Anyone have this unit?  Seems like a great deal.  Only comes with Lighthouse charts, maybe that's why it's cheaper?

Just got an e-mail from Ark. They have a BOGO sale on their Cobb series rods on their website. They're a great rod for the price @ $99.95, and a steal at half of that.

Abu has a big sale going, looks like mostly entry level stuff. Lot's of baitcast combos in the $50-60 price point if anyone wants a vengance or black max entry level setup.

I noticed the Omnia deal says its only valid for "new pro subscriptions", so since i redeemed it last year would that exclude me and many others?

Do you currently have it or has it ran out? Either way you can get it. Not sure how it works if you have 2 months left on your previous membership...if they're tack the 12 months on at the end of that, or what.

Talk to me. I've never handled these. But I'd like to get some 'cheaper' rods to travel with where I don't care if they get banged around as much etc.

I see the reel seat is different than the Tharp's. Tharp's look thinner and I'm a big fan (the new models are even better!). How's the comfort on these? Any specific models you already have? Any info would be appreciated.

Sierra has a couple different Lews Custom Lite (old version) rods for $69.99 normally $169.99. I have not used that rod series for the record.

The seat is similar to the Fuji seat that many companies use. I find it comfortable, especially with small framed reels like my Scorpion 70's. I don't know who makes the guides for them, but I've had no issues with the guides on my Cobb or Lancers. The only model Cobb I have is the "One More",  7'2" M-F. Nice 40 ton blanks.

@KP Duty Best of luck 🤞🏻 Although I don’t need it the 6’-8” lews rods are tempting 😬 Although I can’t figure out the difference in them based on their description but they have different model #’s

Thinking about grabbing a few. $20 shipping is kind of a bummer, but still a good deal.

The lews ML 'jerkbait' rod.... I'm wondering if I could use that for my light shaky heads as well? I'm looking for a casting rod that can handle 1/8+ that doesn't break the bank. I think I would like a touch more length on that application but I may could make this work. I love fighting bass on medium light rods.

I don’t have this particular jacket/bibs but all my Frogg Togg gear has been totally waterproof and good quality. No complaints.

This does look like a good deal.

its probably pretty good. sure, its not a 600 dollar suit, but you get what you pay for. look at original MSRP to give you an idea... and read some reviews, etc.

I’ve used a couple frogg togg sets and have been happy with their durability and waterproofing. I usually wait till BF every other year and snag last years model.

Academy Sports Spring sale started yesterday and goes until Sunday.  20% off fishing/outdoors and 30% off clothing.  5% extra off if you use your academy card.  They still have some cheap zoom.  Picked up numerous bags of Z craws in select colors for $3 a bag after discount

*Academy does not list manufacturer color names for some reason, just 'green' or 'red' etc..  You need to look at the picture and figure it out (lol).

This drives me crazy. Why, why, why do you do this, Academy?

@NorcalBassin With the Classic coming up and TacticalBassin doing 8 straight days of a spring buyer's guide, I'm really curious if Tackle Warehouse will surprise us with a Classic sale like the good 'ol days.

I know this was posted a few days ago. If there happen to be a sale when did it occur after the classic?

Scheels in The Colony, TX has all Lucky Craft cranks and jerks on sale for $7.99 each for anyone who lives in the area

Picked up an LV RTO 150, 2.0XD, Pointer 78, and Pointer 110. Not to mention their clearance bin is usually stacked.
