I just bought a bunch of cranks and jerks for no real reason, ha.  But $4.25 for KVD 200s, 1.5s, and 3XDs to my door is too hard to pass.

Amazon has the revo sx marked down at the moment. It happens every couple weeks and the model varies. At the moment it’s the left hand retrieve high speed marked down to $120. That’s a steal for that quality of reel. 
 

the STX gets marked down to $160 frequently also and is a great buy at that price.

Amazon really surprises me at times, ridiculously high on some tackle and the best prices in town on other tackle.

I much prefer to support our family owned tackle shop but occasionally find something that can't be passed up.

I don’t have a good local shop for bass stuff so I’m ordering from somewhere regardless. I agree with you on Amazon. The prices are often MSRP plus shipping even for prime members. Some sellers and also Amazon will do MSRP and free shipping which often works out about the same as ordering on sale and paying shipping from other outlets. And then you’ll get deals on Amazon of 20-40% off for whatever reason. These Abu Garcia reels are one. Falcon rods from swansons is another (the low rider all around fast is under $100 now and free shipping). 
 

I’ve got a couple things that often go dirt cheap (missile baits, original chatterbaits, etc) in my saved for later and when I see them cheap I’ll grab a couple.

I don't think I've ever paid MSRP from Amazon...usually it's about 10%-20% off.

That includes a Daiwa Fuego CT, a Pflueger Supreme-30 and a couple rods I've ordered from there.

i agree that I don’t pay that. But that’s where they list most items most of the time it seems. SK blade minnows list at $6-$7 a bag. 1/2 oz original chatterbait in chartreuse and white is $7.23. Those are normal list prices but if you watch you’ll catch deals. That same chatterbait in green pumpkin black is $4.99 right now which isn’t bad considering it’s free shipping and I could have it tomorrow.

I did same if you went over $50 free shipping. You would’ve saved $6.99.

The site was telling me I had to get to $100 for free shipping? 
 

If it’s $50 I’ll be calling Monday AM to try and add something, ha.

I went to my account to take a screen shot and my cart total now says $62, which is up from my total at check out yesterday. So 8 guess they did charge me shipping ?.

Weird . I found it on reailmenot but it could’ve expired I didn’t use it.

I would call them. I thought I seen a promotion they had spend over $50 get free shipping.

No one is giving them a hard time, just making sure we didn’t miss a promotion THEY were offering. 
 

I mean, at those prices $7 is like two more lures! ??

With all this amazon talk, I just gotta make sure everyone knows about camelcamelcamel for price tracking. If you don't know about it, look into it :)

Fleet Farm currently has a sale on Sufix 832 ($12.99) and Advance Flourocarbon ($17.59)

 

Note that their prices on other quality lines are below MSRP - for example, their regular price on Seaguar Smackdown is $24.99  and InvizX 4#-12# is $19.99.

 

Also - quite a number of their fishing lines have no shipping charge with no minimum...4-7 day ground.

I dono why but every time I try to add something to cart I get this red error box with nothing in it and I cant add anything to cart at FF.  Maybe I need to signup idk.

Go for it - in the 6 months since I signed up for their rewards program I've earned $10 in store credit.

 

And I haven't shopped very often in that time-frame.

I know opinions are mixed on their stuff but I have their digital scale and it's excellent.  Sharky spinning reel is also very high on my list for the price.

Not a fan of the reels but some of their other stuff I have picked up has been great..... Net, line (for a fishing buddy), lure covers, rod sleeves, kayak gloves, and I have seen guys with the back packs and fishing pliers, both look decent.

Their sunglasses are pretty good.  Been using them for fishing and baseball.  

Their scale isn’t bad either.
