Bass Pro 50% off Seagar Red Label fluorocarbon

 https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/seaguar-red-label-fluorocarbon-fishing-line

I don't have a local BPS, but Academy price matches BPS so I got some 15# to try too...as well as a couple lures, and a new rod.

Did I need the rod? No, but they had the $130 H2O Xpress Tac-40 spinning rods for $55. I already have one and I know I like it. Y'all might want to check your local Academy clearance racks to see what's there.

I may need to see if there's a way I can lock myself out of this sale thread. ?

We don't have that chain either.

I thought it was a nationwide chain, but their website just shows stores in southern states. Y’all need to check it out if you ever make it down south. It’s probably my favorite big box store.

I know, I really wish we had one or two around here. The deals I’ve heard guys on here mention are ridiculous!

I know, I'm pretty jealous. There's no equivalent up here.

I just took a look at their current sale...oh boy if I had the cash. Patriarch XT for $149 - that's more than 50% off regular price.

I've read very few positive reviews of that reel .

I just searched Patriarch reel reviews. I think the older ones were fine but I am seeing a lot of negative reviews on the new ones.

It's actually marked down to $119.99. (if you're talking casting)

I bought this reel a few years back because I got a really good deal, and wanted to test out the Pflueger baitcasters. Very solid reel, especially at that price!

All the reviews I read on them prior to buying were positive.

Well...I'll just have to see how the Patriarch I picked up this past fall works this coming year.

Sorry admins, I edited my post to add that shipping is free for orders over $100 and now requires it to be approved again, Thanks!

You have a Sportsman’s Warehouse at the old Gander building. Is that any good? A guy I worked with at the BWL who’s a walleye guy and he wasn’t too impressed, but that was when they first opened.

We have a few Sportsman's Warehouse in my area (within 50ish miles).  One opened as a sportsman's warehouse and one was a Field and Stream.  Both stores are very different.  The original has some good deals, mixed with some ridiculously high prices, but their inventory is not consistent.  The old Field and Stream remains identical to what it was as Field and Stream (even the decor).  However, I believe the folks at Bass Pro may have acquired Sportsman's Warehouse.  Check my facts there... Not 100% sure it's accurate.

Yes, Bass Pro bought Sportsman's. I'm still not sure what to think of that. Time will tell I guess...

Yeah, SW moved in. Also not impressed with it, their selection is not great.

The same company that owns Bass Pro picked up SW as well. We have a Field and Stream about 90 minutes from here, basically just a DSG outlet. I like it cause it has a lot of stuff and it's kind of random like a thrift store, lol.
