Usually they give it to you, they just can't advertise it. The discount magically shows up in your confirmation email. Maybe for Black Friday/COVID they don't want to mess with it this year. I doubt it though.

Not saying it won't happen, but my question to them was about manufacturers that would be discounted but that they can't advertise as such. Megabass is one that they specifically said "choose[es] to not participate in our sales."

I wouldn't count on it. I reached out to them earlier this week to ask about exclusions from the upcoming sale and Megabass was one of the three brands they mentioned.

What were the other two brands?  Don't hold out on us!??

Not Daiwa because I called them asking about buying a Tatula and he said that it should show the discount after the purchase is made.

Surprised we aren’t seeing more yet. With COVID I thought they would start early to spread out store traffic. I know stores like Target did.

Also has anyone heard if TW is planning on doing the extra 10% off certain brands? Last couple of years my list has lined up well with those brands.

I talked with TW earlier in the week about exclusions.  They said that they could not be specific other than definitely Humminbird and MinnKota were excluded.  I asked whether I could order whatever I wanted then wait until I got the invoice to see if everything was discounted or not.  He said that was possible and to call as soon as you get the invoice and cancel any items before they are shipped.  This method will take the guesswork out of the discounts.  You get what you can and cancel what you don't want.

Interesting..have you used it before?

I have two of them. I love them. Just dont drop it or shake it up though, your box will be less organized.

I haven’t but I have seen a few on here that really like them so I figured I would pass it along when I saw it.

Yep, same. They work great for the boat and kayak, really bad for bank fishing.

That's interesting, I have one and abuse it to heck and back in my bank fishing bag. It gets tossed around, dropped, and generally beaten up and I very rarely have any escapees to neighboring compartments. IDK, maybe I'm just lucky. I have noticed that I have to be a little careful to make sure it's sealed shut, as a hook sticking up for instance may prevent it from latching fully. But it certainly seems to perform well given the amount of abuse I put it through.

Its possible I've crammed too much stuff in it. And yes on the making sure its shut all the way. Trust me, I'd give it a 4.5 stars in a rating.

I remember seeing one of the YouTube guys showing his Bass Mafia terminal coffin, he had a piece of felt or tool drawer liner cut to the size of the inside of the lid that he laid down before closing the box to keep things from migrating.

In the past if an item was already on sale/clearance prior to a site-wide sale (like BF), then the item was included regardless of manufacturer (with possible exception of trolling motors and electronics- I've seen those be both ways). Even though Megabass is "excluded" you can still luck into some discounts like I did last year with an Onager (at least a few of their full price rods were 20% off in the cart last BF).

Tw doesn't start their sale till the exact time.i gotta clock in for work. Hopefully they still have a healthy stock of sniper in 18 and 25 pound when I get off. Anyone know any sales on this product going on anywhere else at the moment plus flipping weights and jigs
