Nevermind. After some research I can see that Joe’s is a legit store just not local to me. It also looks like they have a ton of stuff on sale like curados, chronarchs and virtually everything else they carry.

I was able to add "Take5" off of the total.  Another Curado k for 147.68 shipped to my door (not too bad) It will fit nicely on that new dobyns from the other day :D

Haha it’s funny you say that. I just did the same thing. Curado and 3 spools of invizx for about $200. Not bad.

Joe's is local to me and I go there several times a year. I vouch for them as a company. They have been shipping orders within a few days.

I assume with Tax Day being pushed out later that Tacklewarehouse is not having an April 15 sale as in previous years...

TW has been cutting back on their sales. I don't believe they did this sale last year either. Honestly with them having shipping delays already, having a sale would just make that worse.

Kistler is running a rod sale. There's also an extra 15% off coupon for over $249. Puts a KLX at $212. Wish they didn't have micro guides, probably would have listened to the bait monkey's sweet whispers.

I have 4 Kistler's and I really like them. But I don't like how they bumped the prices up on their rods $50 this year. That's quite a bump. I realize they run sales now and then, but still.

Guess I’m not surprised, I know they are already suffering from shipping delays due to operating with limited staff. Volume brought on from a sale could make it worse

Anyone know about Joe’s Sporting Goods out of Minnesota? They have a pretty nice deal on a chronarch I’m considering with free shipping and everything. Just not sure how reputable they are and if the shipping would take a month or so given the current times.

Why did you have to ask, now the bait monkey wants me to buy one of those discounted  St Croix Legend Xtremes!?

to semi-quote Kistler "the purpose of raising our prices is so that those who can afford them get more"

not sure what is going on with them, but there was a whole enragement about somebody saying that on their official Facebook. Understandbly, people got mad.

Who in their right mind would say that, and who would be happy to pay 50$ more?

They seem like great rods and I have considered them in the past, but after that and now that they are more expensive ill pass.

its like when companies raise their prices 20$ and promote a 5$ off discount (looking @ you dicks sporting goods)

Had some gift cards from christmas from bps. Ordered 2 of these. So we will give them a shot.

I picked one up a couple years ago.  I think they had the PQ2 combo for about half the retail price.  I was more interested in trying the reel, but I get a ton of use out of the rod.  7' M/F.

Yeah no kidding. I just got my new chronarch last week and I have an expride in the mail right now. $200 in baits on the way and I just ordered a curado and a few spools. I'm going to need to sit in the bushes to intercept the mailman so my old lady doesn't feel the need to tell me her thoughts on why it only takes 1 fishing rod to catch a fish.

Oh look! I found something in close to that speed. Maybe not exactly what you were looking for but it should do. ?

HUUUUGE props to these guys. Placed an order around lunch and they already have it on a UPS truck. That's fast service.
