Maybe there is an obvious reason that I am unaware of but why will they not ship to Cali?

This is true, almost everything is. What if they're right?

I've been saying this for years - "The way things are going, eventually even purified water will be claimed to cause cancer."

Long ago cancer was a lot rarer than it is now. Granted people didn't live as long and cancer is primarily a disease that is more prevalent with age but it's the environment that triggers it.

Today is the day to buy Plano Edge boxes if you want them. They are on sale for 25% off at BPS/Cabelas and there is a 10% off online purchases code for CLUB card holders. These discounts do indeed stack.

Jumped on the cabelas deal this morning. Some good deals in bargain cave...

Academy has some pretty good deals going on right now.  They have 25% off of combos and line among other things.

Just got an email from FeelFree kayaks.  They’re clearing out 2019 inventory.

For anyone looking for a great fishing kayak:

https://www.feelfreeus.com/collections/clearance-kayaks?utm_source=Feelfree+Gear+Shopify&utm_campaign=4e2cbbde4a-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_12_22_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_55d0a8fce4-4e2cbbde4a-343266945&mc_cid=4e2cbbde4a&mc_eid=c7aedcefac

I own two, a ‘15 Lure 11.5 and a ‘18 Lure 11.5 with Overdrive.  Their seat is arguably the best in the industry.

There was a lot of talk a few months back about Kistler going away from North Fork Composites. Thankfully, that doesn't appear to be the case.

I have a couple kistler rods.   Won’t buy any more.    Love that they are American made but they have raised their prices quite a bit over the last couple years.   When people asked why....the Kistler site reply was that ”if you can’t afford them than that’s too bad!  More rods for those who can”   Yikes!

I don't like that they raised the price $50 this year. Not at all.

But I have 4 Kistlers (Helium, 2 Feel N Reels, KLX), and I really, really like them. I got them all before these new ones came out, and they were all on sale for a really good price.

And it said that on their site?? Are you talking about someone's review? I never saw that.

They said it on Facebook.    People went nuts!!   It stayed up for a couple weeks but they eventually took it down.

Got the DSG/Field and Stream 2020 gear guide in the mail yesterday. The sale prices went into effect today.

They also have a $10 off $50 or more purchase in effect today.

I just want a bit of normal back in my life as they are closed in my area. They offer curbside pick-up as you can’t go in the store. So I ordered the New Lew’s Carbon Fire Speed Spin size 200 reel. It’s basically the Mach 2 aluminum framed reel with 2 less bearings and red nd black instead of lime green and black. Normally $69.98 on sale for $59.98. $10 off for $50+ purchase = $49.98 + tax.

The best part was I had $30 rewards point cash from purchasing clothes over the winter and fall so it brought the price down to $21 for this reel. I ordered it to be shipped to me as we are getting 4-8” of snow tomorrow so I won’t be fishing until it arrives in the mail anyway.

I was just coming here to post about their current sales. I took advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free on both the Yamamoto Zako and on the Strike King Thunder Crickets, plus the $10 off $50 and free shipping over $49. I ended up with $84 worth of baits at regular price for just over $55 including tax.
