I know a lot of yinz aren't in Eastern Pa, but if you are, Wacky Worm is one of the best local shops.  They have a ton of megabass stuff and it is part of this sale.  They have a variety of their own worms that I use all the time.  It is a great place...

Anybody know if Shimano Exprides ever go on sale? I'm in the market for a new spinning rod...

I think they did on Black Friday but they sell so many normally that there probably isn't a huge incentive to discount the price.

That makes sense. Wishful thinking on my part considering how often they're out of stock. I feel like I need a 7' medium, ya know? Bait Monkey reasons.

The chronic backordering was the basis of my statement. And you don't have to justify to me. That monkey's on my back too. LoL

I'm still in the process of talking myself into it. I'm both frugal and a gear junkie ?? it's a tough combo

Last time I tried, I didn't quite have the stones to actually pull the trigger on one myself. My wallet totally flinched. It's part of why I keep looking at building my own rods. And my boat was like, "Oh, you've got $300 for a rod huh? What about my aging batteries? And my broken hatch handles?"

I’m in the market for an Expride (casting) as well.  Will be watching TW this Spring but I kind of doubt there will be much taken off on them.  Don’t know how close to MN you are but a local shop in Mpls will sell for 20% off most days.  Or, the NW SportShow in April sells all rods/tackle for 20% off.

Not a sale per se, but these are the lowest cost tungsten weights I have been able to find: https://www.beastcoastfishing.com/terminal--skirts.html

You buy the weights individually which is kind of nice.

Those are really good prices but I don’t think I’ve seen anything cheaper than omfishingsinkers.com

Yep, those are the lowest I've seen now too. I think I'll pay the extra 20-30cents per weight to not wait two weeks for shipping from China though. But if you have time and are bulk buying, that's not a bad option!

Tackle supply depot has a decent blowout sale going on:

https://www.tacklesupplydepot.com/Blowout-Deals-s/1563.htm

A lot of Berkeley hard and soft baits, some Strike King plastics, and these standouts also:

Berkeley pit boss $2.86

Missile baits baby d bomb $2.99

Bandit 200 crank baits $4.67

Zoom super chunk $1.96

Yum chunk $1.49

Zoom lizards $2.40 - 2.56

Reaction innovations small beaver $4.02

Colors are limited, but there's a lot of decent stuff left.

I'm itching to get my hands on one finally. It's hard to stay patient for a sale! I'm in Eau Claire, Wi, so not terribly far depending on the quality of the deal.

BPS just offered a really good deal on a combo.  Carbonlite 2.0 rod of your choice with a Carbonlite bait cast reel for $99.99.  Heck the rod alone is $120 and I have four of them I consider really nice, light weight rods.   Incredible comfortable handles.  I do not have the reel, but love those rods.

Sorry, I screwed this up.  Either or.

I wish we had the deal in our market. I have a few Carbonlite combos. Definitely not the top of the line but, when bought at that price, are a great value.

Not sure what the post is referring to. In store? Doesnt show anything like that online

I think the original post is supposed to say rod or reel for $99. That is the add I have anyway.

Truth! My advertisement says that I can get the combo for a total of $50 off. I've been holding out hoping that the classic sale would have this combo on sale.
