Read through the one star reviews and be glad you didn’t purchase that pos. I was looking for a reel for guests to fish with and that thing sounds like a pile of crap. Nobody pays for 1 star reviews so you know what you’re looking at is most likely accurate.  Even the 4 star reviews complain how the brakes don’t work and the reel birdnests.

 

KK is a marketing company not a fishing company.

It is showing in my cart for the Falcon. It appears to work for items that price ends in ".97", but not for those that end in ".98"  You have to click through the email to activate the coupon.

Tried the reel. Sent it back after 1 outing. What a piece of shi...! Buy a used Daiwa, Shimano for 50-70 USD. You will be much happier!

I usually get a notification because I am signed up for the "scorecard" awards (Free program), and I also got a different notification from them that looks like it was routed through my son's soccer league, as Dick's is a corporate sponsor of youth soccer.

Edit: Just saw the "Tournament MP" for preorder this fall. They added red accents which I don't like as much as the gold and jacked up the price another $10. Might have to grab another MB even though I don't need one.

Also - apparently all MK & MG trolling motors are marked down 20% as well. Ultrex 112lb w/ i pilot link for $2199 shipped before tax.  Doesn't do me any good - I've only got 2 TM batteries, no space for a 3rd, and I don't need the extra weight.
