The hookup tackle started their Memorial Day sale, 20% off and usual exclusions apply, though if you call you can still get it on anything but Megabass

Tackle Warehouse has the Lew's Mach 2 Metal Speed Spin on clearance for $49.99 That's $30 off the full price of $79.99

It is one of my favorite spinning reels and a great deal at that price.

Do you know if the the TW memorial sale usually include megabass?

I don't believe so.

However, some stuff like Shimano usually won't show a sale price until you go to checkout. (even tho is said excluded in the fine print)

Not a huge sale, but Sierra has free shipping no minimum order with code FREESHIP today only. They carry a lot of odds and ends fishing gear and apparel.

Think it depends on what state you order from?

just placed an order from Alabama to Alabama and was not charged any sales tax.

Also to confirm,

the 15% off TW is in fact live as of now.

Hmm. I've never had to pay it in the past.

Overtons has 30% off again with MEMORIAL30 code. Guess I’ll spend more money.

Maybe it's because you purchase too much from them. ;)  I sure hope it's not based on where you live because I'm also from WI and have never had to pay sales tax either.

I was excited about his until I started price checking items. For nearly every item I was able to find the same cheaper elsewhere even after the discount.

Let us know if it does or not, I for one am curious..

It appears there is sales tax now. I just checked my last order back in Mid-April and there was sales tax on that order as well. I'm not certain that there is sales tax for everyone now, but it does appear that way...You can always just put items into your cart and "proceed to checkout" to determine if there is sales tax or not.

I placed an order to ship to NH, there was no sales tax.   My company sells and ships items to states with sales tax and we (pass it on to the customer) have to pay based on where it is being sent.  I would have to believe that the new laws regarding internet sales to states that have a sales tax are being put into place.  Any item sold/shipped to a state that has a sales tax is going to be taxed accordingly.

Mississippi does have a state sale tax but my order from TW was not taxed.

I thought the deal was if they had a brick and mortar store in WI you got charged sales tax. TW has always been tax free. If they aren’t now then I will take my online shopping elsewhere. WI is really turning into a state not to be lol.

Not sure about all your states but in Nebraska if you buy something online and are not charged sales tax you are supposed to pay it when you file taxes.
