I've never been more tempted to buy a side scan fish finder !

As far as I know, they are all excluded. Did you find one that isn’t?

I would think that price has to be an error on the part of Overtons.  They have their HDS-7 gen 3 with LSS transducer listed at $1300 but the newer Carbon with Totalscan at $800.  I’m thinking they flipped the prices by accident.  An HDS-7 Carbon for $480 after discount is an absolutely incredible deal.  I almost wish I needed one!

I forced my father into ordering one last night for his pontoon

Academy has the HDS-7 Carbon w/ TS for $699 on sale.  The carbon series doesn't show up in the 2019 catalog, replaced with the HDS Live series, and the totalscan xducers have been replaced with ActiveImaging.  I think you can add the Livesight transducer to the carbons, but you need an external box, and I think the screen resolution isn't as high.

When is the 40% Overton's deal ending? Any items excluded?

There's a different 25% code that shows up when I go to the site that says "Excludes generators, augers, trolling motors, marine electronics, memberships, & gift cards. Offer expires at 11:59pm ET 5/31/19". I don't even know how somebody figured out there's an even better code out there but I'd assume the restrictions are similar, probably not the end date though.

I was considering a Garmin unit but what you just posted said electronics were excluded. But others on here are saying they were successful so IDK.

Garmin is restricted, won't load the code in the cart, but Lowrance is letting the code work.

I am trying to decide between the Daiwa Ardito or Fenwick HMG travel rods to keep in my vehicle. Anyone have any experience/thoughts? The HMG comes with a m and mh tip and the ardito has a choice between m and mh. I would use it when I don’t have other rods with me so it would need to be kind of an all-purpose setup. Only $10 difference with this sale.

The Ardito is really nice.  I brought my 7' mh down to Okeechobee back in Feb and caught a ton of bass pitchin a 1/2 oz jig.  Not once did the pieces shift or get loose.  I'm actually trying to talk myself outta getting the medium right now!

Had a MH in my cart and decided to sleep on it. They sold out before I made up my mind this morning.

I own the 7' Med Ardito and it is a great rod. I've been using it every weekend when I travel on bike to hard to reach/out of the way ponds and rivers. I bring along 3 or 4 different daiwa reels with different lines and it handles them and a wide range of baits very well. Once I assemble it, I forget it's a 3 piece. No sliding of pieces after a whole day of fishing. I would not hesitate to pick one up. I'm actually wanting to get the MH version now too.

Academy has 25% off 6th Sense lures and they have a much better selection of colors than Overton's...just an FYI.

Good find on the Ardito.  I have been in the market, but did not want to spend over $100 on a good travel rod.  Got the M spinning for $75 after shipping and tax.

It looks like it still works....have HDS7 Carbon in my cart....been trying to rationalize how I never have wanted a 7in screen for my yak....and almost hoping the discount will disappear before I pull the trigger

Senkos at Academy are only $4.72/pack. Currently available in 14 colors. 4" are also available at the same price in 4 colors.

I'm doing the same thing with the 3 Waters Big Fish 105 yak.  $480 seems too good to pass up but I just don't know if I'll like yak fishing enough..
