How are you guys seeing the discount on SFT?  I pulled up some items (Vision 110+2, Stradic, Zman Chatterbait for example) and don't see any discount.  Prices are the same as TW...is there something i'm missing?

I was looking last night and the sale was there. Pulled it up this morning and I think it is over.

I agree. Also use one of the price scanners to check the price of the rod. Sometimes Walmart items are discounted but someone forgets to change the sticker. Got an Abu Garcia Rod for $8 last year doing just that. The sticker price read $39.99 The rod wasn't in the clearance section I only scanned it as it was the only rod of it's kind on the rack.

Susquehanna Fishing Tackle moves a lot of bait out of that store. I was there for the yearly inhouse sale they had a week ago and the deals were darn good. Bought $100 bucks worth of stuff I didn't need just because the prices were good.

Most of the Walmart’s should have already marked those falcon rods down....but it’s different for every store and some of the stores are falling behind and underperforming because of how mismanaged their inventory is in various departments....heck I saw Halo and W&M rods lined up 10 deep in some Walmart’s and they have been on their shelves for 2 years at full retail. The manager told me to return in a few days and they were getting ready to do a new inventory reset. So to answer your question , find the manager and ask them when they are doing a Department Reset and bringing in new inventory , most of the managers will tell you when they do this and when they are marking down old inventory.

BPS has the Garmin Striker 5cv, in store only, discounted to $179.88

 

I just picked one up. You can call BPS home office/customer support, give them the model/sku #, and they can tell you what stores show stock. I then had the store that showed it, transfer it up to a store near me. They will not ship to your home; in store only but a great price on a new unit.

With QuickDraw you can make your own maps. Other than that, I’m not sure on other differences.

Zman baits and rigs are buy 3 get 1 free at DSG this week.  Similar to last week, buy 1 get one 50% off, except you need to buy more to get the same deal.

 

Not a super deal on Jackhammers if that's your thing, since they list for $20 in most stores.  However, if you have a $10 off $50 coupon you can wind up with 4 for $50 which works out to $12.50 each, not a bad way to try them out.

It's my main line on casting gear and leader for spinning  gear on 90 % of my jerk bait fishing.   

That bulk spool will last me 5 seasons or more.
