At least part of this year's Black Friday special at Cabela's will be Quantum Energy reels & Tour KVD 150s. Nice reels. Not sure the sale price but obviously it will be priced very low.

Was thinking about the Energy cause I had one and it was great but they are only in right hand so I think I'll pass this year.

Was just at field and steam yesterday.  if you bought 4 or more lucky craft lures they are only 6 bucks a piece.

They might have accidently given me that price on the whopper plopper I got as well.

anyone in ontario, lebaron is closing everytihng is on sale all lures and tackle is 40% off (whats left that is)

I was there on Saturday and stocked up on Shad Raps in various patterns, was a lot of Rapala left and I plan on going back next pay day to see what they have left.  I've got a 3700 devoted to crankbaits, square bills, and chatterbaits all weighing 3/8oz or less that I'm going to fishing with an original Daiwa S glass crankbait/spinnerbait rod w/ a TATULA CT TYPE-R in an effort to get a bit more versatile in my power fishing.

Thanks for the heads up about the Bagley's too; I went and picked up a few KVD 1.5's for the box above and am going to stick with those until I pass judgement on them next season.

Cheers, Attila

Amazon.com has a good price on Rebel Pop-R 3 packs- $7.82.

that works out to about $2.60 each.  The last time I bought one I think it was close to $6

just search "rebel pop r triple threat"

Does anyone have curado 70 casting reels 4sale?

TW has 3+ in stock at the moment and they'll be likely be 20% off Friday morning. Since it's Shimano you'll likely have to call to get that deal, but it will be well worth the couple minutes of your time.

Just purchased two great cranking rods on sale at Kistler website! I would check it out if you need a great rod! They have a nice selection that they are discounting this week! Cheers!

Hold on, does that work for all of their brands not included in the online sale?

For the most part, yes. Never tried Megabass but Daiwa and Shimano both work.

I'm not sure exactly how they operate but last year I ordered some stuff that was on the exclusion list and they applied the discount after checkout by themselves, no phone call needed. I don't know if they would do that for all items or brands, or even if they will do it at all this year. Definitely worth the phone call. But if a Tatula rod (what I ordered) is something they would instantly discount without you even asking then I would think most other things would be fair game too.

Good find. Cabela's has them online for that same price if you're already ordering something from there

The only one excluded last year even if you called was Megabass.

Gander mountain has their vortex rods marked down from 59.99 to only 12.99!  :jaw-drop:

Now that's a deal! Unfortunately it's only on a 6'6" MH, which I don't need but I'm sure someone else will.

They've also got a 6'6" medium fast spinning rod on sale, plus an 5'6" extra fast action, ultralight rod.

Only rods I'm in the market for are a cranking rod or a decent swimbait rod. But I don't need them that much at the moment so unless I see an unbelievable deal I'm not gonna pull the trigger on either until next year.

I already got one of the spinning rods, and it feels pretty good and fairly sensitive (especially for 12.99:)).  It's a little tip heavy and it's got a shorter handle, so I think it will be perfect for jerkbaits.  Definitely runs a smidge on the lite side for it's rating though.

Thanks for the info

I got the 6' 6'' MHF in hopes of using it as a spinnerbait rod.  I would've liked something longer, but I'm not complaining about it for $20 shipped
