Berkley also has a $25 credit when you spend $100 or more but I can’t seem to get it to show when items are in my cart.

I assume you have to submit a $100 order first then they email you a code… anyone have any luck with this?

"Spend $100, Get $25 in Store Credit on your first order when you sign up for our Newsletter. You will also receive the latest news, early access to new products, and updates from Berkley"

Not sure i am going to buy that much though, wanted some flickershad and money badger and maybe another stunna...

...bit ironic that the only thread (I've seen) on this site that has more posts than this one is the Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group). I wish I could fish crankbaits more but there's a lot of grass around me so I can only throw them once in a while...back on topic if anyone is looking for a cheap frog rod I've used that tp1x and it looks like it's still under $40 for that thing on DSG's website. If they have that 7'3" h f model local near you it will work for frogging and a good deal at that price...that and the LFS for the price it was going at was nuts but I imagine the LFS reels are all on ebay or amazon for double the price by now...

Yeah my lakes are devoid of grass, problem for me I like to throw them but the bigger ones and my age do not get along in regards to throwing them all day...sigh.

I actually took a drive to DSG on BF and the store didn't really have much at all in regard to decent deals. Will try and search for tp1x and see if it comes up...really need a higher speed 8.x baitcaster reel and really haven't seen any decent deals for my cheap self, lol.

Update...looked and not listed in my area, I only have one DSG left that carries any fishing stuff. In my area they have pretty much eliminated most of the fishing stuff.

That old 72 m m mojo glass spinning rod is actually an ok rod if you like glass rods. That's actually the one that taught me I don't like glass rods but fwiw it's a good rod and I was able to sell it quickly on fb marketplace...also this year was a decent reminder to check my local Dick's Sporting Goods more often...their prices are a little higher than average sometimes so I don't always love them (plus they shipped me a rod in a horrible box once) but also seems like we all failed to catch this one while it lasted:

...I also snagged previous gen mojo for like $50 last year around this time...so if anything if they carry a rod line that you like locally and a new gen comes out you might want to visit their store a little more often...

Yeah, I retired/disabled at 47. I didn’t get anything either, except a hard time from the VA! I’ll tell you what A-Jay. I’ll buy you a rod for being retired if you’ll invite me to come fish with you (really just want to meet the bait monkey in person)…

That train left the station while Eddie Murphy was playing Gumby on SNL.

BTW I just grabbed one of those poison adrena's from DSG for $139. Website said they were out but it was wrong and they had one when I went to the store. Believe the sale ends today so if you have one nearby and are interested in the old poison adrena spinning models it might be worth checking as they are %50 off currently O.O

My store doesn't stock anything nicer than St Croix. Nice find!

additional 20% off Abu Pro Series and Veritas Tournament series rods with code EXTRA20, prices at $80 and $112 respectively

I’ve got several of these inbound. Too good of a deal to pass up, they were 50% plus the 20%. Not sure my reel purchases are keeping up with rod purchases now lol

Why can't I find the rated lure weight for these rods? Is this a new trend?

Yeah they have the site set up weird.  If you look at the Pro series rods, zoom in on the picture of the rod grip, it lists them there.  Also, pretty sure the Pro series are the exact same as the non pro series, so better off just buying the pro series if you don't mind the custom paint job or whatever it is.
