@RipzLipz -- thank you for the heads up on the Tackle Warehouse sale with the reels going on sale today - to my surprise (and happiness) the Shimano Stradic that was listed as a Clearance Item (for $179) is actually part of the reel sale - so I was able to order a 2500 for $139.

Seems to be a decent price.

@WaskaCrank12,

No problem. I’m glad you were able to get what you wanted with the extra discount from the sale price. They’re being a bit odd with what they’re putting on sale versus what is not on sale IMO. Seems easiest just to log in & add applicable items to cart & make sure all discounts are being applied.

Although I know nothing about electronics as I don’t have a need for them the sales at Dicks seem pretty good at these prices.IMG_2497.png.2395f9f95e8e8fdedb2f4a90140559d3.pngIMG_2496.png.12e219123a99466cdd04bba63bc05aad.png

Bait Wrx has some BONKER deals. 50%+ off many great baits. Also some rods/reels.

Already made 2 orders in 24hrs haha. They keep adding stuff! 300+ items yesterday, 500+ today!

They're nuts. OG Slims (and Tiny's) for $4.50. DT's for $3.85. Rocco's for $5.50. And Z-Man TRD for $2.25. Zoom plastics for $2.50. (select colors on a lot of the stuff)

And a lot of their stuff is an even better deal than what the site shows. For example, the Zoom Fat Albert grubs say reg. $2.19, on sale for $1.10 (again, select colors). In reality, those grubs retail for $3.25 most everywhere else.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH.....I said I wasn't doing this, yet I just hit submit to the tackle monkey God.

50% off stuff I would have had to buy anyways...albeit some colors I wouldn't have picked perhaps but I'm not picky on colors.   I can only imagine some of you degenerate orders 🤣

Nice haul!

I also promised myself I wasn't buying anything this Black Friday season. A Kistler Chromium rod and this order later...I disappoint myself. But 50% off the rod was hard to pass up. I have Helium/KLX/Feel N Reels, and I've been wanting to try the new Chromium.

And all of this for $115? Hard to pass that up. $3 for the Z-Man Sling Bladez spinnerbaits is a steal. I justify it by putting in some OT at work. 🤦‍♂️

Thank you all for the heads up. Scored the Lexa 300 WN on Tacklewarehouse for a pretty good deal.  Just in time for A-Rig season!

Hmm I wonder if the Bait WRX sale is more about liquidation/going out of business than Black Friday. Either way, good deals to be had!

I thought the same thing last time they were giving stuff away, but like 8 months later they’re still here.

If you listen to the industry players from sponsored pros, to tackle company owners, they all say the same thing.......lots of pain is in store for the fishing industry.   The economic outlook is bleak at the moment.

Most of these companies spun up to level 10 during Covid, now not only do people have to work again, but they have way less money in their pockets due to the overall economy and insane inflation.

You see this effect top down in the industry, boat sales started tanking many months ago with interest rate hikes.

If BF sales were an indication of a company going under, Pure Fishing would have gone out of business after last year 🤣

As much as I spent I wish I had spent more.

I was too slow on the Bait Wrx sale.. nothing I would want is left… except maybe line, but I screwed up and bought a bunch from TW already… gonna be a light season of spending for me, unless pure decides 50% off again in which case I’m gonna go broke.

It just applied it to my cart.......things were kind of tricky though as you'd click the bait that is for sale, but some weights/colors were still full priced, others were deeply discounted.   It was always clear though as you'd click the option you wanted and it was either discounted or normal priced before adding to your cart.

Thanks for the clarification, I didn't realize it was only certain colors.  Every color I originally picked wasn't on sale.

Well, yes the industry is treading water right now.  But it's not due to the current economy.  This has been in the works for the past 4 years, if not longer.  Covid exasperated it.

Ya...about that....I wouldn't say they're going out of business, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jarden had a fire sale.

Well TW's sale was a bust for me because I would have had to spend 150, stuff I wanted was spread across 3 different weeks to get 40ish bucks worth of stuff, father in law would have spent to get over 50. So that BaitWRx sale bit me and I will get this stuff at some point as a gift from the wife. I just couldn't pass up the Menace grubs for 3.40 a pack, the Frittside Jr's I have wanted to try for a while now and the S waver is a musky/bass bait. The mono is backing line for spinning and BC reels. I am just about out and that was a really good price for backing line.

I am doing my part to drag the industry down after years of helping them out. I should liquidate some stuff, but I always end up looking for it a few years later to try, so now I just spend less.
