I bought mine so now I'll share...

Left Zillion G 7.1 ratio at Midway for 218.  Sign up for texts and get 10% off (tax is added back in if applicable).  Ships free too.

You sold me man, but are you sure that's the zillion G?

Every other website makes that clear except midway.

Man, that's about it! It's gotten beyond dumb. I haven't bought any new fishing gear/baits in 3-4 weeks, which has to be a record for me.

Midway USA's 10% off sitewide sale is on. Use code JAE072623. It even applies to some deeply discounted items like this: Daiwa Tatula 7'3 Casting Rod Med Hvy - Open Box (midwayusa.com) $73.21 after code

Ridiculous deal. Similar deals on 6'10" & 7'6".

Even my wife would tell me that I should go for it. Actually, she told me that yesterday before  the extra 10% off. @Bassinheimer

$70 for a 7'6 MH/F. Trying to decided if/why I need a 7'6 MH/F. ?

I couldn't help it but ordered the 7'2 M Regular (final price $70), and a bunch of other stuff.  It's rated 1/4 - 3/4oz, and knowing Tatula rods, I believe the Regular action is similar to others' Moderate Fast, perfect for me.  The MH Fast is actually a little stiffer than others.

G.Loomis NRX+ MBR 783c,  GLX MBR 782c, 783c, they're all on sale as well. With discounts, the final price would be 35% off. Not much discount compared to Tatula rods', but a LOT for Loomis rods.

What techniques do they market their 7’6 MHF for?

Rcv’d my open box Tatula from Midway. Looks new and untouched to me.

Less than 48 hours from ordering to delivery.

Hopefully the same is said for the zillion you guys sold me, except midway says it'll be here about 10 days after ordering...

Not sure what Daiwa says about that, but it's a crisp rod that feels much more like a fast+ heavy than a MHF. I'd say heavier gauge single hook moving baits and heavy wire jigs. I have a 7'6" Omen Black 2 MHF with quite similar specs and the Tat feels similar in power and taper.

Are any of the Tatula rods good for an all around rod? Sounds like the mh/f is too heavy?

The 7'6" MHF mentioned above is an outlier rated up to 1 3/8oz. The MHF models below it like the 7'3" and 6'10" are typical MHF rods rated up to 1 oz which are both all around rods.

My Zillion from Midway showed up, just shipped in a bag, no padding or foam or bubbles, not even in the reel box.

For a $370 reel You'd think they'd package it a little better. Was open box but there were a couple dents in it (the box), don't know if that was before or after shipping.

Never had a reel this nice so even if it's not at 100% I wouldn't know the difference haha

Hope it blows me away regardless, thanks for supporting my monkey yall
