Stopped at a Mills Fleet Farm yesterday and they had a lot of sale items. The newer Berkley Jerkbaits were 11.99 and the tiny 4s were 6:50.

for the multi species fishing folks on here, the reef runners were 75% off non sale baits. The main location was wiped out but I found an end cap with deep little rippers and 1 DD 800. All rang up for a 1,74. I am actually going to try the rippers in the 6 foot reed beds for bass, thinking it will hopefully imitate something dying. As an aside the reef runner website is not loading, they have some amazing baits, hope this isn’t the end for them.

It's nice to see the Omnia love on here.  They have become my favorite shop in the USA.

Heads up...they are offering a $30 rebate on the $29 premium membership through the 27th.  It would be silly not to take advantage of this deal.  You can always find a 15% off code for Omnia somewhere.  Premium gives you 10% back, fast free shipping, and frequent exclusive offers.

Another big name online tackle shop that buys and sells used gear has advertised their membership program to me, but it doesn't work out to be free like the Omnia membership.  Omnia wins the battle for my bait monkey dollars.

Definitely a good deal but I find I buy from Omnia only occasionally. Some brands I often buy aren't stocked or out of stock.

True.  I'm hoping the enlarged store (or warehouse) helps with available stock.

I took advantage of the Omnia premium rebate offer today, my money is starting to go to them more and more.

Got me with this one.  Bought the rebate membership this morning.  Had the code within 2 hours.  Purchased gear with the code and now have free shipping with no minimums for the rest of the year.  Thanks

This is the second year I have taken advantage of the offer. You cannot go wrong!

And then there is the shipping time. Another plus compared to some others.

How does one get the rebate?

Pay the $29 for premium and the $30 credit automatically shows up on your account/cart.

For the past 10+ years I've been able to get TW orders within 1 day, but the past couple years they seem to hold onto orders for 1 or more weeks before even shipping while others such as Omnia and the place north of TN and even Japan get them shipped right away. Presuming Omnia has a decent stock they'll be my new TW in 2023 with this premium membership.

I can just stop by and pick my items up being that they are about 15 minutes away!

I hear ya though, essentially its a free annual premium membership that gets you free shipping.

They are having a 25% off all Yamamoto plastics right now.

I stopped by their new warehouse in February to pick up a few items.  Its significantly larger than the last one.  The nice thing about them is that they have a small retail area too where you can walk in and pick up and look at certain items in person.  Like rods.  I will not buy a rod without holding it or touching it, so this has a major advantage for someone like me.  And then I don't have to worry about it getting damaged in a shipping box either, because I can haul it home myself.  I also like to try on items like jackets or rain gear, and this kind of stuff is out on their floor too.  I know the head marketing person there from a previous job so I'll usually chat with him for a while when I'm there.

Yeah, in the same boat.

As a California resident I was able to get the next day shipping if I ordered before 11am the prior day. Now, shipping is slow (I can get stuff (like reels) quicker from Japan or Malaysia, where I dont have to pay sales tax and the prices are much more attractive!) and I still have to pay sales tax!

I gave that feedback to TW, but they did not seem to care. Unfortunately a clear case of "they got too big and comfortable".

So, I will use Omnia for all the little 'tackle refills' from now on.

Some people have all the luck but then again that could be a curse depending on your self-control. ?

When they were at their last location (which is in the same suburb, but clearly way too small for their expanding business), they said they were moving to another suburb to the south that wasn't very close to me.  As it turns out, they only moved a couple miles to a larger location.  I asked them why they didn't move to the initial proposed location down south and I was told that the building had safety/code issues that would have required a significant investment to make work.  So instead of going that route, they simply found a more suitable "move in ready" location nearby.

If they had moved to that southern suburb location, I would not be just stopping by to pick up items.  So it turned out well for this guy thanks to that initial location failing.

Yup, TW has been slipping for me the last year.  Ordered from Omnia Tuesday mid day and the order should arrive today.  They certainly don't have as good of a selection but any time I need any item I can order it by itself and not have to worry about shipping costs.  That's awesome

Thanks for the heads up on Omnia...have seen their adds but have never used them. As far as TW goes I'm at the point of only using them if they have something I can't find elsewhere. U can literally get product from the other side of the planet quicker than from TW...unreal.

I ordered two rods from Omnia last Friday, FedEx delivered them two days later on Sunday.  their selection and inventory is improving.

Heads up to anyone that likes shopping at Dicks Sporting Goods, they have Strike King, Z-man, River 2 Sea and other brands buy 3 get 1 free. Yum soft plastics buy 5 for $10 ($2 a bag). But the good sale they have is the 42 piece Strike king Rage swimmer only pack and the other 42 piece kit that has rage menaces, swimmers, toads, bugs, craws, and ochos..... they are usually $20 for the 42 piece kit but with the buy 3 get 1 free they come to $15 each. (Around 0.35 cents each for a strike king soft plastic)

It's $30 in credit for whatever you want. Don't forget the free shipping.
