They had a few other colors at that price that were wiped out. The only ones I saw still in stock were green pumpkin and watermelon red magic.

I was there a week or two ago and they had a bag or two left of the black/blue and green pumpkin. both solid colors. Unfortunately there wasn't much left when I got there.

Interesting that when you click on "Visit the Daiwa Store", it takes you to a page that looks like a completely different Daiwa company.

Ha that’s weird. I didn’t click on that. Just saw sold and shipped by Amazon. It’s supposed to show up tomorrow so we’ll see if it’s legit.

I’m looking for my first Daiwa and thinking of taking advantage of that Tat 100. I’ve got smaller hands (wife still loves me!) and wanna see what these Magforce brakes are all about since I only own Shimanos, without making a huge purchase.

Have the Tatula 100 and have small hands. One thing I’ll say about the tatula 100 is… depending on your rod grip, the reel may actually feel too small. It

may feel like your hand is crushing the reel and your hand can get a cramping sensation as a result. If I use the Tatula 100 on a couple of my rods, I will get that sensation after a while. My Tatula 100 is currently mounted on

my iRod 704C (jig rod) where it will permanently stay. Prior to putting the Tatula on that rod, I wasn’t sure what to do since my other reels were not comfortable on it. As it so happens, the Tatula and the iRod turned out to be a match made in heaven. Very comfortable for extended periods of time. So, if you get one, I recommend feeling it out on the rod you intend to put it on. 
 

Otherwise, so long as I keep the tension dial set to the zero adjustment, the reel performs well and is a really long caster. Decent amount of line capacity too for being a small reel. I recommend it

They are solid reels for sure. Everyone is different. I haven't had the cramping issue LS mentions above. I'd say my hands are average size.

I kept waiting on pulling the trigger. But the price jumped $15 from yesterday afternoon to last night. Still a great deal but now I feel like I'll be getting ripped off. ?

Huge part of the satisfaction of shopping is getting the deal, more than the stuff itself. A small price change like that ruins it.

I love this thread because its members driven and I always find some great deals on quality stuff.  But getting a sponsored link to clearance section disguised as a "moving warehouse" everything must go  deal kind of sucks. 

 

Nothing against Karls, I buy from there.  Just keep these on the up and up please.
