I ordered one from TW on BF that was backordered until 12/9. On the 12th I got the shipping confirmation email, so it's on the way now. I was in no rush since it's winter here, and the $183 was too killer a price of argue with. I have one of the first ones that was shipped, and it's a fantastic reel.

I got mine that I ordered on the 14th from a different retailer, but I had to pay $184.99 :)

Snagged one for my new jerkbait setup. Such a good reel.

Yeah I've been patiently waiting, I had to get one more to full fill my last rod that was missing a reel.

I don’t know if you can see my last post, it’s in red and the top says “hidden” anyone know why?

If you put a link to an outside site in it - that's probably why. Site's been getting redirect links from spammers lately - sending you someplace you don't want to go. They've set the options to put most posts with links on 'Hold' until a moderator can review it.

The 9SV is $599 and TW but you can get the Echomaps 93SV for the same price at basspro (much better unit)

I have 2 and they are incredible, best bang for your buck.

Here’s a breakdown on the Striker vs Echomap series:

Thanks! That helped make my decision

I see on 6th Sense site they have 2 colors of Curve 55 for $5.88 free shipping over $50. Colors are brown craw and a brown craw with a touch of purple they call it pb&j.

Picked up a 703s myself. Bought the 10% off gift card first. Not a bad rod for $107

Dang, I didn't even think to do the gift card first, nice move.

That's a neat little bait if you haven't tried it yet.  They claim a "tight wobble" but I really like it in any situation that I would throw a Wiggle Wart.  Not sure if that's what they intended, but it works.

The Finesse option is also a good niche bait. Not a traditional square bill in the sense of bang it off everything you can, but great for featureless shallow water areas.  Its pretty erratic without any deflection.

Spending $50 shouldn't be a problem ?

Kistler Heliums are $219 at their site.  That's a lot of rod for that price.

So when purchasing a gift card at TW, does the 10% off reflect in your confirmation email the same way Shimano, Megabass, etc does during sales?

Spinning I think is also included as well.

I went to TW to buy another Dobyns Fury.  Wow. I just bought a 704 Sierra instead. Thx.   I think I actually saved $1.

For those who bought an electronic TW gift card, how long did it take you show up in your email? I got the confirmation email earlier but still waiting on the actual gift card code.

The wife got me one a couple months ago and took 24-36 hours. Every time I’ve gotten one it took at least 24 hours.
