In anticipation of tomorrow's Tackle Warehouse BF refresh my memory. I know the opening weekend is 20% off. But the 10% off gift cards do not start until a few days later, is that correct? I was seeing if there was a way to get 30% off this weekend.

The 10% off gift cards is part of their 25 Days sale - which starts after BF ends. First day they put something on special, every day during the 25, they add another line/items to the sale. So it's separate from BF.

I got an email from Tackle Supply Depot. They’re having a 15% off almost everything.

Good luck!

Buy the gift cards this year during 25 days of Christmas and then use them next year during black Friday.  That's the loop hole, if you have the patience.

Tw doesn't start their sale till the exact time.i gotta clock in for work. Hopefully they still have a healthy stock of sniper in 18 and 25 pound when I get off. Anyone know any sales on this product going on anywhere else at the moment plus flipping weights and jigs

Go hideout in the bathroom while you make your order

It's a one off item, but a pretty good discount so I figure I'd post it (I got one on the way!)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08F6HN372/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

EDIT: So I got my tracking number, and it's shipped by the same vendor that I received a broken rod from this past summer. Also the package is 2.4lbs, so they didn't use a rod tube this time either. So I expect to receive a broken rod on Tuesday. At least it is fulfilled by Amazon so I can return it directly to Amazon instead of waiting 2 months for UPS to send my return back because the vendor apparently doesn't have a legit physical address. So worst case scenario is I lost out on black friday deals I would have otherwise got.

And there's maybe a half dozen other vendors I have purchased rods and reels from with no issues at all, but it has to be the one that refuses to use a rod tube...

What do you mean “one off item”?

As in it's not an entire brand or website on sale just a single item. But at a good price.

Ya, everting on my wish list from TW was cheaper on this site and NO TAX.  So I already got my black Friday shopping done!  Should be good for next season.

I know I am dreaming, but the 25 and 20% off don't stack like the TW extra 10% off has the last two years, or do they?

My list is sadly anchored to TW. The other sites don't carry the baits I have on my list.

DSG has the blade krate at a good price with the 25% off, but the rest of their prices are so high, it doesn't really help me out. Maybe tomorrow they will do a free ship on any price which would be great because the box is all I can find from them. This was the year I had the freedom to shop all over and still back at TW lol.

About to buy either the Daiwa Tatula Elite 7’2 Howell or the 7’4 model. Both are regulars and the same name sake. One is the “universal” and the other is “big top water, Chatterbait, spinner bait” model. I use smaller weights generally so targeting the 7’2. Any watchouts?

Already have a 7’0 M/F and 7’4 MH/F. Two BC to close the arsenal are a Heavy jig rod and a moving bait rod.

Get that 7'4"!  I love that rod!  It is the best chatterbait rod you can buy for the price!

What makes it great for chatterbaits?

The taper of the rod is ideal for reaction style baits.  I love throwing a 3/8-1/2oz. chatterbait on it.  I also throw a 75/90/110 Whopper Plopper and it works amazing.  Throws a spinnerbait a mile and has just enough forgiveness for graphite without the weight and whip of glass.  I have thrown small swimbaits with it, cranks, etc.  It is very versatile and I love the short full grip back handle.  It's a 7'4" rod that fishes like a 6'10".

What is better, a Dobyns Fury or Shimano SLX?  I'm looking for a medium heavy general purpose baitcaster.  If I pick the Shimano, I could also add an SLX XT reel and get the combo for $160.

What does "general purpose" mean to you? What kind of water do you fish? Do you like crisp rods?

This rod would be for heavier jigs, swim baits, etc.  I mostly bank fish ponds and lakes in Texas.  I'm a newer angler looking to add another rod to the 2 I have currently.  I currently have a Shimano Nasci 2500 on an Ugly Stik Medium spinning rod for plastics, etc.  I also have a Curado DC paired to a Dobyns Fury 703C for Texas rigs, spinners and light crank baits.

I am looking for a Medium Heavy baitcaster to build out my rod/reel inventory and was considering a 704C or Shimano SLX medium/heavy.

Appreciate any input as I look to take advantage of Black Friday sales.

Also, if I can pick up a discounted Curado DC, I may pick that up to pair with it.
