Man, I was given a bass mafia terminal box for Christmas, I’m still trying to figure out how to load it, and not sure it does anything better than the half height Plano box’s I’ve been using.  I have to be doing something wrong cause everyone loves them.

I bought a pack of the weight containers awhile back (on sale).  Definitely like the idea.  As for the whole box, I wouldn't pay that much and I wouldn't even be able to fit a lot of necessary terminal tackle in there anyway.  I bought one of these Academy boxes for short trips when I'm not in the boat and can't bring my big terminal box.

I bought the bass mafia box, and wouldn’t pay that much again either.  Really a nice, heavy duty box, but not that amazing.  I saw that Academy box too and thought, dang, I got robbed by the mafia (pun intended).

I'm just going to throw this out there. Some of you may do this any way and this isn't specific to one retailer or site. Since we are going through a pandemic some places are willing to sell items at a pretty good discount. I'm not really talking about Academy, Bass Pro, etc. but some of the smaller places that have a brick and mortar store might be willing to make a better deal. Times are tough for some of the smaller companies and they might be willing to make a little less on profit just to make a sale. I saved over $400 on my power poles that way. I figure since we are all sitting at home it is worth a shot.

We are having our biggest fishing sale of the year at Kittery  Trading Post. Buy 3 lures, get the 4th one free. Other sale items going on. We have a lot of Megabass, Duo Realis, and Molix stuff just put on the shelves.

Didn't say it wasn't. I just remember reading on here a few days ago that you could get that discount and free shipping and if true obviously I would rather take advantage of it.

It was mentioned here and in multiple other threads, SO offered free shipping on Dobyns but Dobyns direct is $25.

SO sale ended last week, Dobyns direct ends Monday at close of business.

They have the new Legend Xtreme Casting Rod 7' - Medium/Fast for $504.  Tempting.

I ordered on 27th, haven't received any yet. I'm not in a hurry, I'm getting my boat out of the barn storage next week. I did sell a couple of my Dobyns Sierra rods out of inventory?

Same here, ordered on the 27th and haven't received mine yet.  I am cutting them a break on this one given the special sale and I'm sure the volume.  I ordered a Lew's Tournament MP to go on the rod, ordered from them Friday 4/3 and it arrived yesterday.

Did they change the price to lower than $109?

Digitaka having a sale.  Picked up a MajorCraft Days 69MH casting rod during the last sale.  Amazingly light blank and sensitive for $120.  Perfect for skipping worms and finesse jigs.

Can anyone who has already received their Dobyns rod from SO tell me how they shipped it?  Seems like normally stuff I order from SO comes via US Postal Service, but I wasn't sure if I should be expecting my rod to arrive by FedEx or UPS.

For the Dobyns rods they are shipped directly from Dobyns (via Fedex)

Nope, for the lefty, it was $ 111.00, plus tax. Still a good deal, I think.

I got a FedEx notification as well for mine.

I still don’t have any info yet. My buddy ordered the day after me, and is expecting his Friday. Hoping mine comes Friday also.

Gary made a post saying certain models would take longer to deliver than others. They ran out of the longer shipping tubes
