I know it's a given but just wanted to give everyone a heads to check out your local Boat/RV shows this winter.

A local online retailer that I don't think is to be mentioned here had crazy deals again at their booth at our Boat show this past weekend. Last year they were selling the white Duckett rods (sorry don't know the model) B1G1. I wasn't interested in those but come to find out they were doing the same deal on all their Loomis rods. ?

I ending up grabbing several IMX pros last year and used them a couple times but the monkey was strong and I ended up selling them to upgrade to NRX's.

Well, supposedly that didn't go over all too well last year so this year they switched it up. They had all Loomis rods 30% off and if you bought an E6X or IMX pro you got a $50 gift card. If you bought a GLX or NRX you got a $100 gift card.

Or.........if you bought a GLX or NRX for full retail they'd throw in a free Curado DC for each rod bought.

They also had steep discounts on ALL line and baits they brought to the show.

So, visit your local shows and I bet you'll find some deals.

Heading to the Boat, Sport and Travel show this weekend here in Indy. Hopefully they will have some good deals.

Purchased another Falcon BuCoo rod on sale, I picked up the  7'4" Heavy Swim Jig Rod for $69.99. I'm gonna have to get a bigger boat if I keep buying rods.

That's a steal!  Paid $109 for mine and it's been worth every penny.  Use it primarily as a pitching stick for anything 1/2 - 1oz range.

Has anyone been to the New England Boat Show in Boston?  I see there are some lure companies there and was wondering if it was worth a $16 ticket to see if they have any deals.

bass pro/cabelas has an electronic sale going on starting today and ending tuesday the 18th.

It is called the triple crown bonus. it applies to the fish finders. Not sure what else is involved.

you get a gift card.

triple points if you use their credit card

and free installation.

I bought a Helix 7 mega si g3/gps at the local cabelas.

It cost $699.00 initially.

I got a $50.00 gift card and $105.00 in Cabelas points. It will also get installed for free. Installation is normally $220.00.

Since I cracked my current helix 7 si/gps, it was going to be relpaced anyway. this just made it cheaper.

Plus now I will have mega imaging.?

Amazon has some Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnow Jerkbaits on sale for just over $3 on some colors and sizes. I was able to grab 4 of them earlier today, all different colors and sizes. Looks like there are still a few left for that price. You have to use the drop down menu and check each color and size for the price. I believe they are $9 on Tackle Warehouse.

Great price - your link reflects a referral code. Nothing wrong with that, maybe just disclose it.

I didn't mean to have a referral code in it, I just copied and pasted the url that was in my address bar.

This one is a Yo-Zuri 3DS Minnow Suspending for $3.09. I just copied the url from my recent order list, it may have a referral id in the link, but I don't think it's mine. I think I got the deal from Tackle Advisor off of YouTube, so it's probably his.

I have never used Venom Lures soft plastics, but their jigs are great. They currently have 100 grubs for $4.00 and 50 lizards for $10.00 on closeout.

If decent that's a good deal to my eyes.

Right click on "New from $7.99" or whatever the price is and select "open in a new window." When you have that window open you will be able to select "Lowest offer for each" in the dropdown and see very quickly which ones across all colors are priced well.

Cav.   I usually go every year but I wait until the last day as i found that it’s the best way to find a good deal.   Don’t be afraid to ask if they will go lower than the marked price for rods/reels or any other bigger items. They would rather sell it at a bigger discount than have to lug it to the next location.

last year I came home with an olde town predator pedal kayak!

its $16 to get in but don’t forget about parking....that’s another $15-20.

good luck!

Thanks Deeare!  I may have to check it out on Sunday even with the additional parking.

That must've been some deal on the kayak!

Let me know if you find any good deals, I’ve gone the last handful of years but probably won’t be this year unless I hear of some deals. Seems like  the selection has declined the last few years, and I haven’t seen much for good sales either.  Always a good time though

I got the predator for a lil under $2400 and it included a $350 hummingbird fishfinder.   Most places were asking $2800 a couple years ago.   I talked to the hobie guy and he couldnt come close to matching that.  Be careful... I think they are selling the predator with the minn Kota motor for $2300 this year.

I know a lot of yinz aren't in Eastern Pa, but if you are, Wacky Worm is one of the best local shops.  They have a ton of megabass stuff and it is part of this sale.  They have a variety of their own worms that I use all the time.  It is a great place...

Just a reminder that the spring sale starts this Friday.  I can't wait to take my monkey shopping.

Free shipping on all orders with code "SHIPPING" unless it has expired. "Fish10" and "Welcome10" get you 10% off and a free lure if they still work too.
