For us northern Midwest guys.  Fleet Farm is running 15% off the Plano Edge series tackle boxes starting Friday in stores.  Will probably be online too.  I know I have been extremely happy with the edge jig box so far and will probably pick up a terminal tackle box.  Decent deal for how new they are.  The jig box always seems out of stock.

If you have one locally the Fleet Farm in Mason City used to give rain-checks for anything not limited to in stock only items which this AD is not.  Have not tried to get a rain check in Des Moines though since I moved 5ish years ago.

Does anyone remember if Tacklewarehouse or Cabela's has a storewide President's Day Sale?  There's a rod I'm interested they both sell but want to time around a sale. Thx

@Coonedawg  anymore of the citicas there? Wanna sell any of them? ?

I bought the 3 they had. They woman at the reel counter encouraged me too. I wish the right hand one had been on sale though.

I believe Tacklewarehouse does some type of Tax Stimulus sale around the month of March or so to match when income taxes come in for most people.

They are gone already. Sold those 3 and funded my Curado DC purchase.

I went to 2 different local Academy stores last weekend, hoping to find clearance deals like last year, but I was very disappointed. They both had fishing clearance sections, but very small selections of oddball items and not so great prices. Nothing like last year. So don’t get your hopes up too much if you have an Academy close enough to travel to. You might want to call before making a long trip.

I've never ordered from them, I assume they're legit?

Oh, and hey to a fellow KY resident and yak fisherman.

Fishing online is where most of my yak attack products came from. Good store that ships fast.

I see you fish a lot of the same places that I do. Message me and we'll see if we can get out on the water one day this spring.

Apparently Coonedawg bought it all.

I can't remember but doesn't TW do a Classic sale? If so is it a sitewide discount or just some specific items?

If my memory serves me right, it's specific items. I recall the big knock on the TW Classic sale is that it seems like most of the "sale" items are not in-demand items. I also think they skipped the tax stimulus sale last year too.

They had a sale back in November, I think it was a 25% discount on a good amount of items. We'll see if they'll have another one this spring.

Yeah, I take advantage of that Black Friday sale every year. Unfortunately it seems that's the only really good sale they do all year now.

I know a lot of yinz aren't in Eastern Pa, but if you are, Wacky Worm is one of the best local shops.  They have a ton of megabass stuff and it is part of this sale.  They have a variety of their own worms that I use all the time.  It is a great place...

TW's Classic sale starts the morning of March 6th. If this sale is like the Christmas sale, there will be a handful of smokin' deals which will sell out nearly instantly and the rest is just ok. It is kind of funny to see what's still left on the last day, junk they could not get rid of even with a significant discount.
