Looking to save on a curado dc but seems that anytime a coupon comes out, Shimano is excluded or the sites don’t carry them. Am I wasting time, do I need to pull the trigger on a full price one?

I've heard that some places "exclude" them, but when, ordered the discount still gets applied.

HA BAITMONKEY I WIN!!!!!!!?!

I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF ORDERING A REEL FROM KTP WHEN THE FLASH SALE CODE EXPIRED!  (well except for that $100 order from Rapala earlier that I had no intention of making earlier today. d**n stackable codes almost equaled 50% off, and I've been knocking them out on jerkbaits lately.)

It's been a while since I've made a major fishing purchase... Bait monkey has been awfully quiet. I'm suspicious.

The rapala stack works. Unfortunately the free shipping requires a $50 purchase and 4 jerkbaits costs $9 shipping. You guys are getting errors because you are copy/pasting. You can do this but you must edit it and take out the space at the end. This is why you get an error. All of the promo codes took for me.

stacked coupons work on the ENTIRE site, so don't just focus on the clearance section.  I picked up some line.

eBay would be your best bet to get it at a discount. Check each day as there will be one at a good price eventually, but you have to be on your toes, because it will be gone quickly if you don't act fast...

If someone isn't willing to drop $50 on tackle to get the discount, I seriously have to question if they're really 'bout this baitmonkey life.  :roflmao::yes:

I "invested" my money this week on a Curado DC. The monkey has been fed. I dont need 12 jerkbaits, Nor do I have any room to store them. I already have enough but that's always the case. Next week it's a new rod for the new reel, kistler helium. The monkey will be fat by next friday.

Don't you need line for that new reel? Sufix line as well as VMC hook, Terminator and storm are on the rapala site

As a matter of fact I do need some new line. Not really but I suppose it wont hurt to take a peek.

Saved $41 on a $90 order. Not too shabby.

I think this is a mistake. Tatula just released this 7'6" flippin rod with AGS. Its $170 for a $300 rod. I have the AGS Finesse and its my most sensitive rod by far! Its 41% off and free shipping via prime. This is cheaper than their nonAGS elite rods.

https://www.amazon.com/Daiwa-Tatula-Signature-Length-1-Piece/dp/B073QD9YWC/ref=asc_df_B073QD9YWC/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312830415552&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7331245581946765233&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9016050&hvtargid=pla-617868496551&psc=1

This is sold out everywhere. It doesn't say ags on the ad but it indeed is. All the specs point to the AGS version. Better act quick!

Just had a look see, and unless I missed something, the rod is now $289.00 free shipping..

It was probably $170 when he linked it, but Amazon's algorithms constantly change the price. I have 2 AGS Tatula Elites, and they're really good sticks, but not at MSRP. $170 would have been a no brainer.

If you google that rod sku you will find it for $173 at some shady looking website. You may want to research the site and make sure you are protected if you are interested in purchasing from them. I will not link to it as I would hate for a casual bystander to get ripped off from a link I posted. I think there was one rod left from my original link after I purchased mine. A couple hours later a new seller had it for $190 using the same link. They must have ran out too it its retail price now.

Dick's has the 20% off every item* again today. *Usual exclusions it seems.

Also, Rakuten/Ebates has a deal where you get an additional 10% cash back. I did this a few weeks ago when it was 15% and the money was in my Ebates account the next day (they mail checks every 3 months I think). You just have to go to ebates.com and click through the link.

Anyways, I got an Old Town Topwater 120 for 20% off, free pickup, and then 15% cash back. My out of pocket (not including taxes) was $680 for a $1000 kayak. 32% off an item that never goes on sale.

I think if you sign up with my link, we both get a bonus ($10) on any purchase you make: https://www.rakuten.com/r/SOWDER70?eeid=28187

Picked up one of the Abu Garcia Hunter Shryock combos today. Was looking to get another Revo X so I pulled the trigger. The Revo is $99 and I ended up with that combo for $120 before tax. Rod feels pretty nice too. I think it’s a win for me.

I’ve been thinking about trying out the Helium 3 and the Argon. This may push me to do it.

I have a couple Helium 2s & 3s.  They’re great rods, light as a feather, well built, and very sensitive.

My 7’ M/XF casting H3 is paired with an Abu MGX.  I’ve not scaled it, but I’d have to say it’s 8-10 oz., spooled up.

Lastly, they’re made here!
