I actually managed to use the sale to stock up on things rather than impulse buy for once. Got some of the new ST-35 trebles in a few sizes to try on my swimbaits, some 20lb (spinning) and 40lb (casting) 500yd spools of power pro braid, a few war eagle spinnerbaits, some underspins, kietech fat impacts, seaguar blue label 15lb (leader line mostly for worm fishing), and a couple other things. I do have a labor day sale wishlist going already though lol to finally get equipped for some jerkbait fishing this fall and winter. That tatula CT is the reel for that setup so we'll see if I can maintain the willpower to wait until september haha.

I'll have to check out the cabelas brand.  I've been wearing the north face convertible pants for years.  My current pair I purchased in '08.  They have a lifetime warranty, but I bet cabelas does as well.

Not sure when, or if it's all Cabela's stores, but I noticed at my local Cabela's in IL, that there were several Rapala's priced between $1.47-2.47.  My Cabela's was pretty well picked through, but I managed to find a few left.  They weren't marked as a sales item, the prices just appear to have been reduced.

I saw that earlier and almost posted, but saw it came through the "team sports" mailing channel that is the back-end for my son's soccer league.  Figured not everyone got those notices.

I saw that as well, almost ordered some but stock is low... Even with the Buy 1/50% deal at Dicks inflated price it comes down to typical online prices anyway ie TW, Monster, etc so just decided to wait.  That and haven't wrapped my head around spending $15 for a jig lol.

Yeah $15 a jig...crazy, but that bruised green pumpkin chatterbait is the best jig in my bag and it's backordered at TW until like August. They do have some good F&S long-sleeve SPF50 T-shirts for $15 before the 20% discount too.

Well I figured I would try them... so I ordered 6.  Odd thing is, I got the buy 1 get 50 off so they were 14.99 instead of 19.99, but then I also got the 20% off of that when I checked out, it worked out to about $12 each.  So maybe you don't need the email link/coupon for the 20% deal...

That's how it works - you click on the link in your email they send you, and it takes you to the site, but on the back end their site knows to take 20% off your cart.  

 

 

rapala.com has shadow raps on for 20% off, then you can stack code FISH10 for another 10%, then add FREESHIP25 for free shipping over $25.  

 

the 10% code applies to other items you add as well.  I've never been a jerkbait guy, yet I love crankbaits, but the other guy in the boat last weekend was producing with an old beat up jerkbait, and I didn't even have one in my bag.  Gotta keep up with the Joneses!!
